Allows caster to inflict the Agony Curse upon a target.

You are capable of inflicting your inner hatred upon another in the form of a lasting, vile, curse of pain.

This skill allows the Dark Oppressor to inflict an Agony Curse on another individual. The Agony Curse will cause them to suffer intense, horrible agony for 12 hours, during which time they are unable to be healed. If the victim is hurt (such as from an attack), they will suffer extra, unsoakable damage that the Dark Oppressor will gain Experience Points for. Further, they will lose Magic Points with activity (1 per action) and suffer a -10% attack penalty during this time.

Note that the Dark Oppressor will also gain Experience Points for cursing members of his or her own Faction.

This is a touch attack.

The curse's effects, in greater detail:

• The curse will last for 12 hours (real time) or until the death of the victim, but can be removed by Absolve Suffering or Angel's Tears. (Note: Angel's Tears don't cure demons.)
• Victim is unable to be healed by any skill, spell, item, or ability during the time that the curse is active.
• Victim will lose 1 Magic Point per action. This will not take you into negative MP.
• Victim suffers a -10% attack penalty during this time.
• Depending on the victim's tier, he will suffer additional, non-soakable damage every time he is injured (in combat or otherwise - including loss from the Defiler's Poison). This damage will earn the Dark Oppressor a number of Experience Points equal to the damage inflicted - no matter how the victim suffers the initial injury.
  • The extra damage is 3 point if the victim is tier 2, and 6 points if tier 3.
• This skill will not affect characters of level 10 and below.
