[edit] What we are about
Many people become addicted to the beneficial properties of Alcohol. It heals the body but it harms the soul. This group of down and outers are trying to give up the consumption of these dangerous fluids. Our therapy involves consuming vast quantities until we lose all desire to harm our souls again. It works! Those who have consumed deeply rarely touch another drop. Help out this worthy cause. If you can't join, then give a AA member an encouraging word or gift. Support this worthy cause.
Every now and then, we are likely to head off on a pub crawl visiting the finest drinking establishments in the Nexus.

We don't really think of it as a stronghold, more a shelter for the homeless. Anyway, the shelter is somewhere in Purg.
[edit] The so called "Good" Factions
While wandering around the Nexus, still trapped in alcohol dependance, we were simply astonished that so many "good" people who found a drunk homeless unfortunate would beat up, slash, shoot and kill unfortunate alcohol dependants.
What is the world coming to?
For protection, we have banded together and formed a homeless shelter for those who are sick of being pushed around, maimed and killed. We have seen what happens when people put aside alcohol - they become violent to those least able to protect themselves.
We have recognised that angels are really just a bunch of crying emos and have started a diplomatic mission to help them out. While we are in Paradise, we have put our weapons / claws away while we generously give of our time and alcohol cheering up crying angels with gifts of wine and whiskey. However we are not above giving an old fashioned drunken beating to those who think we have gone soft and raid us.
So be Alcoholic and proud of it. Protect those who would otherwise be bullied by these "good" factions. Join AA today.

Our faction link is http://www.nexuswar.com/factions/view.do?factionID=285. An invite is required, but don't be put off. This is just to prevent some extremely cheesy play that some other factions have experienced. Request and invite and you will receive one within a day or two. Accept the invite and you will receive faction mail telling you where to go.
