[edit] Mission Statement

[edit] Inside the Alliance

As a rule of thumb, the Alliance does its best to serve it's diverse of collection members. While the choice of full autonomy is always open, there is a group to help utilize nearly every character build, ranging from crafters, to engineers, to healers. And we don't forget about the combatants; the Alliance guarantees at least one raid per week for those more inclined to 'change through action'. Mortals do not need fear having to trudge through waves of planar pain to get to the luxury of a stronghold and safe; 94.865% of the time, we set up in Valhalla every time!

[edit] Outside the Alliance

Outside, the Alliance is very adamant in its defense of smaller and neighboring factions in St. Germaine. While the Alliance of St. Germaine is friendly to both good and neutral factions alike, it will be known that it has never turned down a NAP or alliance with a less morally-inclined faction based entirely on loose conceptions of alignment.

When not left to its own devices, the Alliance has been known for its public services on Harper Island; free healing at Harper General Hospital, restoration of power, and removal of barricades and inflammatory graffiti are just a sample of the services provided (neglecting to mention the surplus of wine and wench).

[edit] Rules and Policy

Generally speaking, while it is left up to individual group Captains to set the policy of their units, the following rules are held in common by the entire Alliance and apply to its member groups as well as its individual citizens:

  1. Obey the existing Nexus rules - avoid multi abuse and the like.
  2. Act in a manner consistent with the spirit of the Alliance.
  3. Look out for your fellow Alliance members and don't abuse their generosity.
  4. Avoid actions or statements which could damage the reputation of your fellow Allies.
  5. Every member is to be given a say on all issues and statements will be weighed on their individual merit.
  6. No member shall ever be penalized for offering their opinion - that said, no member is ever obligated to agree with them.
  7. No order is ever binding.
  8. The autonomy of each member will be respected.
  9. Leave the drama at the door.

[edit] Recruitment

If an individual would like to join the Alliance, the minimum he or she needs to do is simply click join on our faction profile - If a member should like to participate beyond just sharing the group title, simply get onto our forum and contact the group Captain of the group you'd be interested in serving with.

If an entire group, either already existing within the nexus or some other game, would like to join the Alliance, that group should simply contact Schoony or SWAT/Graystash via IRC (#AoSG in irc.nexuswar.com) and a line of communication will be established as soon as possible.

While we are a good-aligned faction, we are more than welcoming of members who'd rather pursue the upper-tier neutral classes.

[edit] Our Forum
