Alonai

Alonai is the common name for one of the Elder Powers. She is the personification of love, innocence, faith, and virtue. She is aligned with Good.
Alonai has no standard depiction, though fawns and seed imagery are common in stories involving her. She is the patron of healers and lovers.

The language of the cult of Alonai, Liavan, is almost more empathic than actual. Spoken words are concise and "airy," while much of the context of any conversation is derived from facial expressions. It is said that two cultists who are fluent in the tongue may speak volumes merely with their eyes.

Alonai's symbol is a simple circle with an expressive, outward reaching arm. Early representations of the glyph sometimes include two arms, thus implying a more matronly tone than the current aspect of "giving."

[edit] Gifts
The "power" gifts granted by Alonai to her cult members are:
- Providence of Alonai - Consumable healing items (like First Aid Kits) only consume themselves 50% of the time. Further, healing items will no longer break on death.
- Alonai's Aegis - Toggle Power. Cultist can cast a protective shield over a good-aligned character. Damage done to the protected character is instead transferred to the cultist. Costs 5 AP, 5 MP, and 10 HP to activate; 2 MP/Minute thereafter. Can only be used once a day.
- Blessing of the Untainted Heart - Grants immunity to Agony Curse.
- Song of the Heavenly Choir - Click Power. Removes all negative status effects on good-aligned or neutral-aligned characters in the cultist's location. Costs 10 AP, 20 MP, and 30 HP. Can only be used once a day. This does not cure the cultist.

The following actions are known to gain favor for Alonai cultists:
- Healing Alonai, Hashaa, or Goros cultists.
- Energizing Alonai or Marquai cultists or any cultists favored by Baraas (even non-Baraas cultists).
- Using Absolve Suffering (unknown who must be the target).
