Big Tease is the larger of two islands to the extreme southwest of the Saint Germaine Archipelago. It is uninhabited, undeveloped, and primarily marshland and forest.

The island takes its name from an old legend saying that sailors approaching from South America would first glimpse the island and claim "land ho," assuming that they were seeing Maquez Island, only to be disappointed by the fact the island they were seeing was Little Tease. This disappointment was further compounded by the fact that the next island they saw was Big Tease - also uninhabited.
