You are able to channel your blood so that you enter a powerful, predatory state.

This ability allows the Revenant to enter a 'Blood Frenzy' state. When under the effects of Blood Frenzy, the character gains an increased attack chance and increased damage. However, his defense is reduced. This ability consumes a great deal of Magic Points.

The bonuses granted by Blood Frenzy are:

+5% to-hit (all attacks)
+1 damage bonus (all attacks)

The penalties granted by Blood Frenzy are:

-15% defense

Blood Frenzy consumes 1 Magic Point per Action Point spent and a further Magic Point every minute.

Blood Frenzy may be used while the Revenant is under an alternate form.

The Revenant squared off with the Nexus Champion, their blades glinting in the moonlight. They were both tense, each seeing a worthy adversary in the other. In the Revenant strode, and the dance began. Their blades sang, each taking their turn to strike at the other during the deadly tango. The Nexus Champion had the flow on his side, his perfect balance of mind and soul allowing him to strike harsh blows then slip away from the Revenant before she could riposte.

They broke combat momentarily, circling each other slowly, preparing for the next bout. The Revenant was desperate. She saw red, and gave in to her hunger for blood, letting the smell overwhelm her senses and drive her to speeds unknown.

She charged in, blade low - the nexus champion saw the attack easily, and prepared his own attack. She came into range, and the Nexus Champion swung, expecting a swift parry and ready to swing the blade around to use her own strength against her. The parry did not come; the Revenant simply stepped into the blow. The Nexus Champion looked blankly at the Revenant, his blade in her shoulder, but her blade lodged firmly in his neck.
