[edit] History of the Blood Hawk Brigade!
Once, there were a band of Rogue Angels. Now, they are the most effective mercenary group known to the Nexus.
The Blood Hawk Brigade started out as a haven for the rogue angels, a place where the 'Moral Ambiguity' was the word of the day, everyday.
Then, Firduath, the leader of the BHB, said out to his men. "Hey guys, I bet we could get really, really rich by doing really, really cool stuff!"
So the Blood Hawk Brigade tore down its Rogue Angel banner, slapped on a Mercenary badge onto the rusty plank that was the banner of the faction, and marched on. It became the strike force for hire, the one you could always count on (once paid of course), and the Pay-Per-View button on everyones remote.
11 months from the Blood Hawk Brigade's creation, it has become a highly successful faction, and has made its mark upon the Nexus.

We are a merry band of angels and higher mortals, many of whom are combat crafters. This means that we not only have a constant supply of pristine Weapons and Armor for our members, we raid often. These raids will be, as promised, large and frequently ambitious, so participants will have no lack of blood to coat their equipment with.
As a mercenary faction, we will frequently be sent out on contracts, ranging from the destruction of stronghold to dancing outside The Pit of Azazel. The Blood Hawk Brigade will accept any contract, go anywhere, do anything, for the right price.
Also the mercenary faction with far by the highest rate of success in the Nexus, the BHB boasts a completion rate of over 95% in the first attempt. Known for our efficiency throughout the Nexus, we rarely shun contracts, and always hope to accomplish more with less.
If you are looking for a life of fun and active raiding, or the exciting life of a mercenary or rogue angel, the Blood Hawk Brigade is for you!
[edit] How to Join
In essence, the Blood Hawk Brigade is willing to accept all those who are willing to be completely loyal to the faction and share our cause. Rogue Angels are always welcomed.
It would also help if you are not squeamish in the affairs of taking the lives of people, regardless of their morality. You do not have to be a merciless killer or relentless psychopath to join here. Medics, crafters, healers and engineers (or any hybrid combination) are especially welcome, as a true army is more than the sum of its parts.

Members can expect to be fully equipped with pristine equipment, after proving oneself, along with frequent activity with raids.
DO NOTE that any who dare run away with our shinies, face the wrath of every single Blood Hawk, making your remaining life a living hell. Don't think about it.

Rogue Seraph: The foremost representative of the Blood Hawks. They are the ambassadors to the rest of the world.
Flight Leader: They are the commanding officers of the brigade. This is a role with heavy responsibilty, and is only entrusted to those who have proved their worth and undying loyalty to the Rogue Seraph's cause. They will follow His orders, even to the grave.
Blood Hawk: Trusted members of the faction, they have stood out in their abilities and contributions to its cause. With this rank, members may now access the Blood Hawk supply cache.
Hatchling: All recruits begin under this category. They are expected to follow the orders and directions of the Flight Leaders without fail. Once ability is shown and the time is right, promotions will ensue.

Payment to the Blood Hawk Brigade is counted in Gold Values (GVs) where:
One Gold Value = Items, enchants or other things worth the value of one gold ingot (exchange rates can be checked with leaders, and some things are not accepted)
Payment to the Blood Hawk Brigade can now be made in two forms:
Bullion: Payment in solid gold ingots, payment in this form is considered worth 'more' and discounts on the total price may be given if payment is in this form. Also, for big contracts, sometimes there will be a minimum bullion payment. (if a payment is in bullion it will show on the tab or balance) One Gold Ingot = 1 Gold Value
In Kind: Basically, stuff the BHB wants that is not gold. This is valued in Gold Values accordingly.

1st - Blood Hawk Brigade is created.
6th - BHB joins the 77th Armed Response Company in raiding The Human Instrumentality Project. Raid is a success. and the 77th ARC gets the flag
7th - BHB raids Crimson Wolves successfully and claims their standard.
8th - BHB raid The Arabian Knights successfully and captures their banner.
9th - BHB and 77th ARC combined raid on ¬_¬. In accordance to the contract given, the BHB returns 3 standards, those of the factions Among all there are Few, the International Contract Agency, and Friend Computer's Finest from ¬_¬ stronghold. The 77th ARC takes ¬_¬ flag.
14th - BHB is contracted to join the infamous Acta Defence. Firduath is the only member who can make it, but wreaks havoc on the demons outside clawing at the door for 45 minutes.
17th - BHB contracted to join the raid on The Pirates. Once again only Firduath can make it there. However, he manages to return the 77th Armed Response Company standard, as contracted. Later on, BHB is contracted to join the Acta raid on The Scourge, and claims their standard.
23rd - On a long distance raid, BHB captures the Eternals flag.
25th - A lvl 5 faction, The Eternal Champion, sets up about 6 spaces away from our stronghold. Raided, removed, standard taken.
27th - Demons Next Door sets up next door to the Blood Hawk stronghold. BHB panicks and raids DND. Their Flag was captured. The BHB later apologizes to the DND for the raid.
28th - The Scourge flag sold for 6 gold to Pirates of R'lyeh. Shortly after, the DND attack the BHB stronghold and regains their flag, as well as capturing the BHB one. This marks the first defeat of the BHB.

1st - BHB contracted to raid TSO, to recapture Among All There Are Few flag. Mission successful, but heavy losses (57% as reported by survivors) suffered. No regrets, says participants.
2nd - BHB raids Smart Mart. Complete success with zero casualties, flag is taken 4 and a half hours after the raid.
3rd - BHB raids The Silent Order and The Wild Hunt simultaneously, completed two contracts at the same time. Captures The Silent Order flag, and returns the Can of Worms flag from the Wild Hunt Stronghold.
7th - BHB is raided by The Edgetown Original Gangsters and The Crypt Lords of Hashaa. This marks the Fall of The Great Wall of chuckwagon.
11th - BHB joins the massive raid against the Oblivion Squadron. Success, as the stronghold is decimated by the might of angels and those who lean towards good.
15th - BHB tears the Undeadites a new hole. Contract successfully completed.
16th - BHB assaults The Ascended, and successfully takes their standard after killing all within their stronghold walls. Let none doubt the neutrality of the Blood Hawk Brigade.
17th - BHB strike the Crypt Lords of Hashaa, Groovy Doctor Strauss Machine AND The Nordic Avengers. Participants noted that the second part of this operation was "OVERKILL". Success. 6 contracts completed
18th - BHB does a tri-raid against Warseers, -ME and co. and ¬_¬. Flags of Warseers, -ME and co. taken. 2 contracts completed.
28th - BHB defends against Balance and repels their forces.
30th - BHB raids The Scourge, retrieving two flags for its allies. Later, the Blood Hawks raided Oblivion Squadron.

12th - BHB enters, clears and cleans the Crypt Lords of Hashaa stronghold, capturing the standard as well. Members noted the distinct lack of zombies.
14th - The "Fagot Angels" of BHB celebrate ¬_¬'s reaching of level 10, with the presenting of multiple sharp pointy objects. Party-goers regret the utter destruction of ¬_¬'s Purgatorio Stronghold, saying "Hey hey, we was drunk man."
15th - The Blood Hawk Brigade does a joint raid, working together with The Divine Slayers, to unbalance The Balance. The battle was long, but victory was attained. Go Hawks!
17th - BHB raids The Demons Next Door. After some dragged out combat, the Blood Hawks triumph!
20th - The Blood Hawk Brigade, along with its allies The Dark Raiders and Hentai All-stars, hold off one of the largest raids it has ever seen. After combat that lasted half an hour, the defense held, pushing Balance, The Demons Next Door, The Phoenix and ¬_¬ back off Fortress Foghaven. Losses were heavy, and Firduath sacrificed his life that day, but the fort held.
21th - The Blood Hawk Brigade, defends against a second push by Balance, The Demons Next Door and The Phoenix, with limited success, saving 4 out of 5 of its trophies, but slaying all the attackers with minimal losses.

30th - The Blood Hawk Brigade launches an attack on Demons Next Door as a retaliation for its previous raids. It encounters nearly 9 times its numbers (90 defenders to 10 raiders). The Hawks bravely fought to the last man. The BHB was unsuccessful at recapturing its flag, but it had left only 3 demons remaining. Hours later, a second attack was launched at DnD. The sacrifices made in the first strike was not in vain, and honor was regained in the 2nd Offensive. Victory!

1st - The slain Blood Hawks returned from the void. DnD was to be shown who they were messing with. Final death was granted to those in the Demons Next Door's Stronghold, as the battle shook the chains of Purgatorio. Snoogums, Wheel of Righteousness, protected the wearied warriors from vultures of the wastes. Victory!
4th - BHB Raids the Jorm Hunters and completes its contract, capturing the flag.
5th - BHB Raids the Black Mambas and JUICE CREW ALLSTARS, finishing two contracts at once and capturing both flags. RRF put up a tough fight in the Black Mamba SH.
7th - BHB Raids The Legion and captures their flag, finishing another contract.
9th - BHB Raids The Vault and captures their flag, finishing a private contract.
10th - BHB's Second Epic. Raids 5 factions at once, Inversionaries, Behind the Mirror, -ME- and Co., the Order of Darkness, and Conquer, snagging all their flags at once and completing 5 contracts.
10th - BHB's Strike Team: B strikes a further faction, The Damned Librarians, wiping them out and capturing their flag.
11th - a BHB Lightning Raid completes two contracts, capturing the flags of the Workers of the Nexus and The League of Science-Heroes.

10th - After a too long break the Blood Hawk Brigade gets back to action. Showing that they are as rogue as ever, they complete a contract by clearing the stronghold of the Random Shocking Violence and give the flag to the contracting party.

11th - With the Return of Firduath to lead the BHB once again, it takes their first contract in awhile, and raid the DND stronghold in Stygia in conjunction with The Dark Oppressor's Guild. The raid is a success, with 11 attackers dying and 131 defenders cleared, and DOG taking the flag.
13th - BHB raids CHAOS CHAOS CHAOS under contract from Atalanta's Armory. Raid Targets are eliminated and CCC flag is taken. Contract completed and payment was collected on the way home.
15th - BHB raids three Forgotten City factions, Soldiers of Duat, Christopher Lee Appreciation and Fight Club, grabbing all flags and completing all three contracts at once.
23rd - BHB raids three more factions on further contracts, Soldiers of Duat, Decepticons and Fight Club, on behest of 13 (for Decepticons, the others were privates). 2 flags of 13 were returned from the Decepticons SH and all 3 targets were eliminated. Contracts successful.
25th - BHB raids The Wild Hunt to complete a private contract. Contract is completed and flag is taken.
29th - BHB raids CHAOS CHAOS CHAOS to complete a private contract. Contract is completed and flag is taken. Later on in the day, The Wild Hunt raids BHB and fails. Remaining raiders move out and raid Undeadites and cap the flag.
31st - BHB raids Nordic Avengers and Fight Club to complete Phases 1-1 and 1-2 of an Anti-Alliance Contract. Contract is completed and flags are taken.

1st - BHB raids Soldiers of Duat to complete Phase 1-3 of the Anti-Alliance Contract 1a. Contract is completed and flag is taken.
3rd - BHB launches two raids in one day, flagcapping Soldiers of Duat, Fight Club, Undeadites and Decepticons, completing phases 1-4, 1-5, 2-2 and 2-3 of the Anti-alliance contract 1a.
4th - BHB raids Nordic Avengers to complete Anti-Alliance contract phase 2-1. success and flag is taken.
7th - BHB launches two-pronged raid, flagcapping Friend's Computers Finest and Warseers, completing two contracts.
We all aspire to be like Marine Capt. Brian R. Chontosh, who is ALMOST as strong as The Rogue Seraph, who laid the almighty smackdown to more than 20 enemy soldiers, clearing 200 meters of enemy trench, BY HIMSELF, depleting the ammunition of his M16A2 service rifle, 9 millimeter pistol, 2 discarded enemy rifles AND a RPG. We salute you.

Kenny - Seraph and Flight Leader of the Blood Hawk Brigade. Fallen in the year 2007 in the line of duty, he was erased from existence, but lives on forever in the hearts of his friends.
