Killing makes you stronger. Blood fuels your hate.
Whenever you land a killing blow upon a target, you will enter a Bloodlust state. For a short time, you will have an increased chance to hit and deal greater damage with all attacks. If you land another killing blow while under the effect of Bloodlust, the Bloodlust is lengthened.
Bloodlust is a specialized status effect that can be applied to Infernal Behemoths. Whenever an Infernal Behemoth with the power kills another character (any character) they will enter the Bloodlust state, increasing their damage and attack.
- The duration of Bloodlust is 5 minutes.
- Maximum duration of the effect is only ever five minutes. Killing an additional target will only reset the clock to five minutes from the time of the kill.
- Bloodlust may also be activated through the use of a single Blood Ice. Bloodlust may NOT be extended through the use of Blood Ice.
- Bloodlust imparts a 5 point damage bonus to all attacks and a +10% to-hit bonus to all attacks.
- Skill now drains 4 MP / minute while activated.
- Skill may be toggled off at any time.
The soldiers eyed the Infernal Behemoth warily, each afraid to be the first one to enter its sight. As it walked closer towards the ambush, grips tightened on swords and guns. Finally, the cry of "Charge!" was sounded and over two dozen warriors poured out from all sides to slay the Behemoth.
The Behemoth roared and stood his ground, and began slicing and tearing and clawing at the soldiers. First one fell, then another. But they had expected him to take at least a few of them. What wasn't taken into account was the way that he seemed to grow stronger after every blow he landed, how each soldier was slain with greater force than the last. By the end, the Behemoth stood victorious among a mound of corpses, reveling in the bloodshed, and in the end, it was the last to die, not the first, who felt the greatest terror.
