[edit] The Celestial Defense Force
The war in Malton was at its peak. The survivors were dug in all over the city, but the zombies were relentless in their attacks. One night, a loud explosion rocked Malton. Did the government bomb the town? Was there a failure at one of the Power Plants? Did the NecroTech employees take control of the situation? No one knows. All we know is that two-thirds of the Creedy Defense Force perished that night. The ones that survived were thrown into some kind of alternate plane of existence. They found themself weak and lost. So they took the fight to the streets, banded together and started gaining strength again. What kind of strength was this? This was no old school Axe Training. Some of the members started growing wings...

Born - September 28th, 2005 - Urban Dead - Fort Creedy Armory
That was a long time ago, but it only seems like last week when we all huddled in the Fort, heavily outnumbered, screaming out orders, and firing off Shotguns. Now, we have between 150 and 200 regular members to our forums and we have been battle tested, forged in the hottest fires, and proven to be one of the best crews out there. We are no longer just an Urban Dead "Zombie Slayer" group. We are a gaming community, filled with the best bunch of guys (and we have a few gals too!) you could ever hope to encounter. We have been seen in masses in close to half a dozen games, and some CDF have even reported "accidentily stumbling" upon CDF in other games we don't play together. What separates us from other groups is the bond we developed playing Urban Dead. It's less about the games now, and more about the friendship. We have been around for a long time, and we don't intend on going anywhere anytime soon.

[edit] Zerging, Cheating and Things of That Nature
The CDF has a Zero Tolerance Rule in effect for all people who abuse the rights a game gives them. That includes Cheating, Zerging, Multi-Abuse, Griefing, PKing, Racism, Sexism and more or less any other thing that you shouldn't be proud of. Gamers in our Community caught doing such things can (and have) get banned from our forums. So, play fair and be a good sport.

After constant fights on the streets of St. Germaine and on the plains of Paradise, the angels have decided to get rid of the evil in Valhalla. On October the sixth, joint forces of Acta Sanctorum, The Faithful, Alliance of St. Germaine, Invisible Danger and the Celestial Defense Force has gathered, and stormed Oblivion Squadrons stronghold. Many demons fell that day, and even though the magic upholding the stronghold was revoked, thus disallowing the army of Good to take the flag, the operation can be called a succes. The Demons have returned on the following day, they have seen , however, that the struggle in Nexus is not yet over.

Once again, the CDF had enough. In a multi-faction joint raid, the CDF, TF, Acta, and MA obliterated TSO in one coup, retrieving the standard and taking the TSO's. The warriors went in first, and once most of the higher level targets were down, the mages walked in. No TSOer walked out alive. Completed on: 11:45, 23 September 2006 (CDT)
[edit] The Shining Ones
After much abuse from this group, the CDF had had enough. Together with Acta Sanctorum and The Faithful, the CDF staged a multi wave raid. The CDF members went in first wave and took over 90% casualties, but not before soaking all the ap of active TSOers and destroying the SH ward and greater/major wards on the SH. Acta and The Faithful then swooped in and finished off what remained of the enemy.

Just after the DnD victory, the remaining CDF troops marched into jonestown via ferry and smashed The Scourge SH. The battle was drawn out due to lack of attacking members, but in the end, a lone warrior of the nexus, Rain Phoenix joined the CDF and along with Revolverocelot who had just gotten to the 1 hour battle took the standard and the CDF claimed victory.

Fresh off the TSO defeat, the CDF was in no mood. They quickly took up arms against their neighboors, the Demons Next Door. The attack went fast lasting no longer than 15 minutes.

The CDF declared an open attack on The Shining Ones, ordering all members and asking a few allies to go along for the ride. When the battle time dropped, a mob of CDF and Allies rushed the TSO Stronghold(numbers totalling in the dozens as high as 50-60). Because of the openness of the attack, The CDF met a reported 60 TSO members, 20 of them active and a half dozen TSO Allies (numbers reported by a TSO member). It was a quick battle, but it was bloody. When the dust cleared, 75 corpses, ally and enemy, lay inside the TSO Stronghold. Hybrid is credited with grabbing the Faction's Standard. This battle marks the first attempted CDF Raid. It was a success.

[edit] Pirates of R'lyeh
August 23-24, 2006
After a long crusade of many victories, the CDF rested for 2 days. During this time, however, the Pirates of R'lyeh took the chance to strike the CDF SH. They were beaten back, as CDF defenders have proven quite strong. Unfortunately they came back the next day and killed every member inside the SH.

August 9-10, 2006
The CDF moved into the neighboorhood of Chuckwagon. Within a few hours, demons of the TSO attacked the newly formed Stronghold. Luckily the CDF fought back driving away the invaders; though suffering many casualties the CDF lived to fight another day. The TSO were not satisfied and returned on August 10th to finish the job. It was a vicious battle in which many members of both sides fell. In the end, however, The Shining Ones defeated every last soldier of the CDF. Like the matriarch of evil that is The Shining Ones, she allowed a smaller associate of hers, JUICE CREW ALLSTARS, to take the standard.

Bruno Gasulla leads the Force in its entirety after a series of leadership changes. Currently he has no second or third in command.
