Your Blood Claws are acidic and are able to corrode the armor worn by a foe and break down barriers easier.
This skill enhances the Pariah's Blood Claws attack so that a successful hit is more likely to damage any non-innate armor that the character is wearing. It is possible for all armors worn by the target to be affected. Further, the Pariah's effectiveness towards damaging wards, barricades, and doors is increased.
This power's effects versus armor are more fully discussed under Item Decay.
The Pariah will deal 1.5 times normal damage to magical Wards of any kind.
The Pariah will deal 2 times normal damage to Doors.
The Pariah will deal 2 times normal damage to Barricades.
“We have suffered your predations for far too long, demon! No longer! Namm’s will be done!”
The Pariah rolled his eyes, staring at his opponent in mild disbelief. Did these fools even vaguely comprehend how idiotically sanctimonious they sounded, spouting off about their ‘gods’ the way they did? “Please, ‘oh noble angel,’ spare me the rhetoric. Spare me your inane mewling.”
He darted forward, his right hand coming around in a sharp, vicious slash aimed right at his opponent’s ribs.
The angelic fighter staggered backwards slowly, a look of the utmost shock forming on his face; his sword dropped from suddenly nerveless fingers, his hand drifting downwards to his stomach which was already wet with blood. “This… no… how could you have…”
Clearly, he had expected the heavy steel plate cuirass to protect him. Clearly, he had expected his faith in the Powers to protect him as well. “My lord… my lord, why have you abandoned me…” He clutched at his ruined armor and fell to his knees.
“Your armor has failed. Your flesh has failed. Your faith has failed.” The Pariah laughed coldly. “My work is done.”
