Crystalmir Corporation was once a stable human organization that operated several subsidiaries. Such subsidiaries were concerned in various matters like information technology, manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, magic arts, alchemy, military science, telecommunications, and media entertainment. It gave food to the hungry, built shelter for the homeless, educated the unlearned, and helped the Principality of St. Germaine through public service. However, the corporation was disintegrated into almost complete wreckage because of the war, and whatever is left of the organization now is trying to re-establish its former influences.
Crystalmir Corporation was founded by Maria Crystalmir and Lord Desmond Timandre of Northpoint, who were both killed by demonic mobs. The corporation is currently being supervised by their daughter, Kamalia.

We strive to create a reputation of our ability to provide quality service, construct a vast network of information, and establish a large group of sexy, good-looking and results-oriented individuals concerned with the common good. We plan to enhance medical research, different fields of engineering, arcane science, alchemy, planar studies, military education, and the like – all for the greater glory of the human race.
[edit] Corporate Structure
Crystalmir Corporation uses the process of departmentalization, with each group being assigned specific goals and tasks. Membership in these groups are neither compulsory nor mutually exclusive - agents may be members of more than one group.
[edit] Research & Development Division
Members of this group are tasked with the support operations of the Corporation. These include, but are not limited to: Infusion, Equipment Maintenance and Alchemy. Being the backbone of Crystalmir, they tend to be on the fast-track to promotions, bonuses and pay rises.
[edit] Security & Intelligence Division
Usually divided into two "strike teams", these agents are tasked with the physical safety of the Corporation's employees and property. Their secondary objective is to assess future threats and rival businesses and pre-emptively assault and sabotage their power base, collecting resources and intelligence along the way to assist the Research & Development Division in improving Crystalmir's equipment and product lines. A faction's "alignment" is not considered for the purposes of threat assessment. Angels, transcendents and demons alike are considered to have equal potential in endangering the future operations of the Corporation.
[edit] Human & Angel Resources Department
A select group who manage and monitor the welfare of Crystalmir's agents, especially the interns. They are responsible for approving new interns for promotion.
[edit] Creative Department
Agents with artistic talents are invited into this division. They are in charge of the architecture of Crystalmir HQ, as well as designing advertisements, attire and stationery.
[edit] Ranking System
The ranking system of the Crystalmir Corporation is as follows: Intern, Agent, Executive, and CEO.
[edit] Intern
New members start out as interns. Each intern will be monitored by an agent from the Human & Angel Resources Department. The agent will then be tasked with receiving and assessing the intern's curriculum vitae (a single book) before approving them for promotion. All Interns have no access to the stronghold safe, and have limited access to the forums.

Agents participate in the corporation's activities, and are highly encouraged to take part in forum discussions and conferences. They are well trusted by the corporation, granting them access to stronghold safe. It is their duty to look after the interns as well.
[edit] Executive
Executive members partake in the discussion of the growth of the corporation. They are the most trusted individuals in the group as they have provided indispensable assistance for the growth and betterment of the organization. They help the CEO supervise the team, and perform managerial functions.

The CEO takes the role of a global manager in the organization. She finalizes most decisions, and hosts many activities within the corporation. The CEO performs many other functions, such as planning, staffing, leading, and establishing ties with other factions. The current CEO of the Crystalmir Corporation is Kamalia Timandre.
Update: Currently, due to her numerous commitments, the CEO has taken a more passive role in the management of the corporation. Hence, this position has been taken over by the Board of Trustees. Kamalia still retains ownership of majority stock of the corporation, so a hostile takeover in the near future is unlikely.
[edit] Rules and Policies
- Members are expected to help their nearby colleagues in trouble first, before they give aid to non-members close by. Survival of the members of the corporation is priority one.
- Members are obliged not to attack any affiliate of friendly or allied factions. They should not hesitate, however, to act on self-defense once a member of such faction initiates an attack. Obliterating any member of an enemy facton will be highly appreciated.
- Access to the stronghold safe will be limited to members of the corporation whose rank is above that of an intern. The corporation trusts its agents enough not take more than what they need.
- Wearing corporate apparel is greatly encouraged. It boosts your sex appeal.
- Opinions of each colleague are valued. The autonomy of every member is respected. Therefore, all members are asked to join the Corporation's forum and join meetings whenever possible. Additionally, a member can always log on via IRC in irc.nexuswar.com under the #crystalmir channel.
- Conduct yourself as a professional, and leave the out-of-character drama at the door. Professionalism is promoted in this faction, and it sets us apart from other groups.
[edit] Diplomacy
The corporation, though concerned with the common good, has little interest in the so-called war of alignments and tries to avoid factional politics as much as possible. Its main priorities are the survival of its members, the organization’s growth and the restoration of its former function. It is willing to establish cordial ties to groups and organizations with similar goals. Crystalmir Corporation also uses its security force to retaliate against any offending factions that are trying to impede the corporation’s growth. External parties interested in diplomatic exchanges are invited to contact the Corporation via its Foreign Relations board on the forum. Guests are permitted to leave messages without official registration - less paperwork that way.

Crystalmir Corporation raids Assassins of the Myst!
A dismal group of miserable individuals who called themselves the Assassins of the Myst had tried to infiltrate the Corporation's Saloon (with a SECRET underground headquarters that can be accessed through a trapdoor) a day prior to this one. Lady Kamalia was annoyed, not because the stronghold was infiltrated, but because of the 'death' of one of her necromancer staff and the sudden decline of the labour force: a horde of zombies and ghouls. You see, Lady Kamalia loves free labour. As one of her agents, Augustus, had pointed out during the raid, the undead don't need pay, they don't need dental, parking spaces and can work overtime. They work for free, ceaselessly and tirelessly, so what's not to like about them? Granted, they don't smell nice, but still. The Intelligence Division searched for the whereabouts of this group of 'assassins'. Crystalmir Offence Wing attacked their turf. The raid was successful.
At least Agent Ulala still has an undead horde to man the desks. This will at least... placate the CEO's foul mood for a while.

With the unveiling of the connections between Nifleheim and the known Nexus, Crystalmir Corporation sets up an outpost in the Necropolis to begin its research into the land of death's ancient secrets.
