Damage Aura

A damage aura is an aura that deals soakable damage to attackers, usually when they're using melee or hand-to-hand attacks. It serves as a defensive mechanism that generally deters would-be killers without proper countermeasures.

- Clockwork Cloud deals 6 Bludgeon damage. (Seraph)
- Aura of the Crypt deals 6 Death damage. (Lich)
- Burning Aura deals 4 Fire damage at level 20; damage increases by 1 point every other level. (Infernal Behemoth)
- Cloak of the Vengeful Fire, when active, grants an aura that deals 4 Fire damage. (Divine Champion)
- Cloak of Holy Radiance, when active, grants an aura that deals 4 Fire damage at level 20; damage increases by 1 point every other level. (Divine Champion)
- Cloak of Hoarfrost, when active, grants an aura that deals 4 Cold damage at level 20; damage increases by 1 point every other level. (Divine Champion)
- Fiery Servitors and Holocausts both have an aura that deals 4 Fire damage. (Elementalist Pets)

- The Void Walker skill The Stepping of the Assassin negates all damage taken by auras.
- Acid Blood isn't classed as an aura and will not be negated by The Stepping of the Assassin. It is still affected only by melee or hand-to-hand attacks; however, only weapons which "slash" or "pierce" the skin of the Wyrm Master trigger the blood.
