In Nexus, one can find almost anything. Rich in wealth, the former inhabitants of Nexus left behind a great many personal effects of value, some even magical in nature. As with many of the items in Nexus, the quality of the accessories found can hold a magical charge, if the right enchanter can be found. For the remainder of the characters, accessories found simply enhance one’s image in the eyes of others through the user’s profile.

Dark whispers abound that the personal effects found are merely trappings for the combatants to pay homage to Envy and lead others down a foolish path of conflict over the remaining wealth. Sorcerers seek out all of the jewelry they can find in their quest to become masters of Enchantment and seek to try their hand at their new craft. Holy books hint at the idea that many magically enchanted accessories were created in the name of slaying some great evil from Stygia. Regardless, personal effects of all types can be found in almost any corner of Nexus.

There are six types of accessories: bracelets, cufflinks, earrings, necklaces, pocketwatches, and rings. A character may only wear four rings at a time, and one of each of the other five types.
