Your association with the forces of light has strengthened your resolve and you are better able to resist damage.
This ability acts as a type of armor that is always equipped. It will reduce any Hit Point damage done to the character from attacks. This is an innate ability.
The protection provided by Divine Armor gains strength as the character levels. Initially, Divine Armor provides a soak value of 5 points to all mundane types of damage, as well as moderate protection against the more exotic types of damage. Every four levels thereafter, however, the protection provided by Divine Armor increases.

“C’mon kid, get ready! We’re leaving in five minutes!”
The grizzled Myrmidon combat veteran shook his head as he buckled up his breastplate. The young Paladin had been in the corner praying for hours. All around, the warriors were scurrying about, finishing their preparations for the upcoming battle. The Myrmidon ambled over.
“Kid, did you hear me? You’ve got five minutes! You haven’t even got armor on!”
The Paladin opened his eyes. “I’ll have everything I need.” Then he closed his eyes and continued praying. The old warrior sighed. Pity to lose such a promising young soldier to blind faith. Those evil sonsabitches would tear him apart.
The Myrmidon opened his eyes. He remembered a Pariah….then blackness. He tried to sit up and saw his armor slashed to shreds. He was covered in gore. And standing guard over him was the young Paladin, completely unharmed, and outlined by a glowing radiance. He was surrounded by corpses.
“You… you’re…” The Myrmidon tried to speak. “…How?”
“I told you I would have everything I need.” The Paladin smiled, and stood over the old man until a Shepherd healer came.
