Edgetown is a small neighborhood located on Saint Germaine Island. It is perhaps the poorest of all neighborhoods on the island, populated primarily by dilapidated slums and empty lots.

Edgetown is located in the extreme South East of Saint Germaine Island, South of Tague Island. To the West lies the suburb of Chuckwagon. It is a lowland area, and prone to minor flooding. The earth in Edgetown is very sandy, and crops do not grow there.

Edgetown is almost entirely comprised of Slums with the occasional Empty Lot thrown in for good measure. However, Edgetown possesses a few locations of note:
- Edgetown Precinct, a Police Station, at 41,45
- A rather large Junkyard, centered at 43,45
- Southern Cross Cemetery, a Cemetery, located between 36,48 and 39,48

Despite being attacked by factions from Iverson, Chuckwagon, Paradise and Harper Island, Edgetown remains the property of the Edgetown Original Gangsters.
[edit] Historical Background
Edgetown has always been an afterthought. It is poorly located for habitation: seasonal storms produce waters which collect in the ground, leaving it prone to flooding. Further, the poor soil quality of the area ensures that it is never used for agriculture.
When the Taino came to the islands from South America, they ignored the area – a practice continued by the Spanish when they controlled the archipelago and further continued by the government of the Principality.
After World War II, when the islands saw an upswing in their economic fortune, more and more of the Principality's poor found themselves forced out of their homes in the Northern neighborhoods. As a result, they were displaced into the Edgetown. Many of the slums here are government subsidy homes. The area has been known for its high rate of violent crime.
[edit] Travellers' Tips
The Edgetown Original Gangsters maintain a presence in the area. Anybody travelling through the Edgetown area is advised to not stay overnight. The Edgetown Original Gangsters, or EOGs, don't take kindly to people trespassing on what they believe to be their "turf" and are likely to use foul language and improvised weapons to remove you from the area.
Chances of being enslaved by a lich and forced to walk the Nexus as his zombie puppet are higher in Edgetown than in any other part of the Nexus.
