[edit] EOG Faction Rules

Contents

These rules apply equally to everyone. Breaking one of these rules can lead to you being demoted, kicked, or banned.

1) Do not attack factionmates.

2) Do not attack or counterinfuse our allies.

3) Do not repair the door of Tha Crib. Break the door if you see it has been repaired.

4) Do not participate in any attack that is not approved by a Ho-Slappin' Motherfucker.

5) Do not attack a stronghold while it is down after a raid. This is known as "Vulturing" and the EOG look down on it.

6) Read your goddamn faction mails.

7) Do not heal anyone who is being jumped in.

8) Do not take First Aid Kits or Stygian Bone Leeches from the Safe unless we are under attack or have just been attacked.

[edit] Alt Abuse Rules

[edit] The Basic Idea

In a game where you can donate to have new characters, it's important to make sure that the person who can donate for an army of dudes is on the same footing as a new player. To that end the creator of the game has decreed that we should keep our dudes away from each other.

The following is a list of situations in which we think your dudes are too close. If we think your dudes are too close, you'll get banned from the EOG.

[edit] Alt Abuse

1) Defending against a raid by a faction that you have an alt in is alt abuse, unless there is no way you could have known the attack was coming.

Notes: This works both ways. Don't defend against EOG raids with your alts, and don't defend against your alt's raids with your EOGs. If you want to take part, move your character in the target faction away, and then come along on the raid with the attacking faction. The EOG don't care if you attack us with your alts, and we expect you not to care if we attack your alts.

2) Defending the stronghold of a faction that you are a member of with any character who is not a member of that faction is alt abuse.

3) Raiding a stronghold with more than one character within a 24 hour period is alt abuse.

4) Raiding a stronghold that has the standard of any of your characters with a character other than the one whose standard is held is alt abuse, unless more than 24 hours have passed since the standard was taken.

Notes: If a faction has taken the standard of more than one of your characters within a 24 hour period, the character whose standard was taken first may attack.

5) Passing on information from IRC channels, non-public forums, faction mails, or anything seen in game with a character other than your EOG is alt abuse.

Notes: We don't really care if you say stuff like "Hey my Seraph just leveled up!" we do care if you say "Hey my Seraph just found a raid going on!"

6) Passing an item that gives an in game benefit from one character to another or from your character to any character in a faction you have an alt in is alt abuse. Trades between factions must be done by characters who do not have alts in the other faction.

[edit] Honest Mistakes

We all screw up. If you do, just let one of the EOG leaders know about it as soon as you realize what you did. We're much more likely to believe that you carelessly alt-abused if you tell us before we find out from someone else.
