Forgotten Union

Forgotten Union is comprised of various small (mainly evil) factions residing in the Forgotten City, Purgatorio.

This area has been empty since the time of Haldos and is reputedly the site of an old battleground.

Beginnings

The small factions of the Forgotten Union chose Purgatorio for varied reasons. Many of them had been hounded out of other planes by repeated strikes from larger factions and struggled to find a safe place for their members.

Purgatorio seemed fitting - factions drifted towards the Forgotten City seeking some small measure of security. Alliances were made between us to help combat repeated visits by those seeking easy honour.

Battles

Times were never completely peaceful in the City as visitors continued to smash our wards and kill us but the Forgotten factions settled somewhat. Then in July came the discovery of a sizeable number of The Ragged Philanthropists hiding in the north-eastern area of the islands. They had come to steal the City from us and had begun infusing large sections of the islands, determined to snatch our strongholds in the process.

Our first major defence of the city occured on 7/7/7. 41 members from our alliance banded together to oust the Raggeds who had set up their stronghold at 75,78. There were 58 members inside and many pets but our fighters managed to liquidate those inside within only a short time - Soldiers of Duat took their standard. Over the next week, many raids were co-ordinated to stop them making a claim to the area. The Raggeds even set down their stronghold right next door to Fight Club and attempted to ward and infuse our alliance members out of the city.

Aftermath

The Forgotten Union factions defended the City against many odds. The war continued for some months but FU held.

The war is long over but FU will never forget!
