You are able to create various ballistic weapons from scratch.

The character may craft from scratch various types of guns. The quality of the weapons created cannot rise above "average," however, as the character's skills are not sufficient to create items of higher quality. The Action Point cost associated with repairing normal items has decreased. The character may repair damaged magical weapons as well; however, this function requires an incredible amount of Action Points and Magic Points. The character must have access to a workbench to craft guns and must have the proper components. When crafting firearms ammunition, the AP cost for doing so is reduced by one. The Mortal pushed open the door to the dusty gun store, and clearing a space on the workbench he surveyed his inventory. He had searched for days to get these supplies, and finally found a quiet place to work away from the fighting. He set upon his task, milling the stock metal and boring the barrel. Moving to the broaching machine, he carefully added the rifling. Sweat gathered on his brow as he fit the firing pin and adjusted spring tensions. Finally he was able to lift his newly crafted pistol and spin the cylinder before loading a clip and snapping it shut. It had taken the better part of the day, but now he was armed for the coming battle.
