The Tentacles you summon are pulled from the deeper echos of Tholaghru's insanity, and are able to feed from the essence of those they murder.
Whenever the Wyrm Master's Tentacle of G'Nak kills a victim, the pet is automatically rejuvenated. This skill does not apply to pets killed by the Tentacles.
