[edit] Host of Zebulun

In ancient times, a host of angels was assigned to each of the tribes of Israel for its preservation and defense. But that world ended, and the Nexus arose. As the moral balance of the Nexus drifted toward apathy and chaos, the Host of the tribe of Zebulun was dispatched to lead the Nexus into Righteousness -- through whatever means necessary...

We are a band of warrior angels dedicated to the advancement of true Good. We strike at both evil and neutral ("gray") opponents, whether they encroach on Paradise or hide themselves in the deepest void of Purgatorio. As it is written, "In righteousness shall you judge your neighbor."

Contrary to popular opinion, we are not largely concerned with hunting neutral mortals. In fact, we have a factional policy limiting our involvement with such characters. Our primary targets are the sorcerers and myrmidons who agitate for "free will" and moral apathy, all the spawn of Tlacolotl, and the occasional fallen angel.

[edit] Membership Policy

We are primarily interested in one thing -- righteousness. Thus, almost any good character is welcome to join. However, we do exclude the abominations of Hashaa -- Liches and Revenants -- these being perverse in their very natures.

[edit] Policy Regarding Neutral Mortals

We believe it is in-character for a zealot angel to attack and kill neutral mortals, in the same way a demon might kill a low-level good; or a good-aligned wizard, a low-level evil. We do not believe neutrals ought to expect less enmity in the Nexus than other character types.

However, we do want to keep the game approachable for new players. Thus, we enforce the following factional policy: Tier 2 and 3 members of the Host will not attack neutral mortals below level 5. Breaking this rule is a bannable offense.

[edit] Auditing

The Host is known for performing righteousness audits on factions which appear, superficially, to be on the side of justice. It is unfortunately true that many "good" factions are really just fronts for gatherings of the evil and morally indifferent. The Host will not be dissuaded from its mission by mere semantics, and will pursue grays and evils wherever they are to be found.

However, in the interest of seeing righteousness increase we do offer a special solution for good factions, the Extension of Time to File (form MO-40).

[edit] Extension of Time to File

In the case that a good faction applies for and is granted an Extension of Time to File, the Host will stage an attack on an evil stronghold and help the good faction to gain access. The good faction will then make use of the evil targets inside as an opportunity to grow in righteousness.

The Host will stand by and provide assistance as needed.

If a faction refuses the offer of the Extension of Time to File, auditing proceeds as usual.
