Those who are innately aligned with evil.

The Infernal Horde is a faction created before the dawn of existence by the Elder Powers, Those Who Sit in Judgement. It is a special faction, and one of the "Big Two" (the other being The Divine Army).

The Horde is different from other factions in the following ways:

• Only Demons may join the faction, despite the fact that it is of Evil alignment.
• Membership in the faction is sometimes automatic: if a character descends at level 10 and is not a member of a faction or is a member of a non-evil faction, they will automatically become a member of the horde.
• Locations infused by the Infernal Horde use a special icon
• The Infernal Horde's karma is calculated in a special way. They receive a bonus equal to 5% of the total karma of all other Evil-aligned factions.
• Unlike normal factions, the Infernal Horde does not have a player-controlled leader or stronghold.
• The Infernal Horde will not be deleted if its membership drops to 0.
