Jonestown

Jonestown is a relatively decent middle-class neighborhood, within commuting distance of Southton Mall, the Downtown core, and the nightlife in Chuckwagon. Also in the area is Jonestown Power, providing electricity to the surrounding neighborhoods, and Jonestown Hardware, for all of those do-it-yourselfers.

Jonestown is located along the south coast of the Saint Germaine Island, sandwiched between Southton to the west, Chuckwagon to the east, and Downtown to the north.

Since CHAOS CHAOS CHAOS abandoned "Troll Time" there has not been a significant factional presence in Jonestown. Given the amount of traffic and the absence of a true factional presence, no one really controls Jonestown. However, the nearby strongholds of factions like Pirates of R'lyeh render this neighborhood completely unsafe, as one is likely to end up a snack for a patrolling Pariah or the like.
[edit] Travellers' Tips
Jonestown is one of the most heavily traveled parts of the Nexus thanks to the Ferry at Nona's and the convenient access it offers to Paradise, Chuckwagon, and Harper Island and Maquez. Sleeping in Jonestown is foolhardy, one is as likely to end up the victim of a Greater Smite as they are a bedtime snack for an Infernal Behemoth.
