Karma

A faction's Karma score represents its overall power through magical control of territory.
Karma is only granted through Infusion.
Karma increases the strength of the Flag Shield by five points for every point of Karma.
[edit] Plane bonuses
Successfully infusing a location grants a certain amount of karma to your faction depending on the plane and your faction alignment. For every location in Valhalla infused by a member of your faction, the faction gains 5 karma. Every location in Purgatorio or Nifleheim nets 6 karma. If your faction is Good, every location infused in Stygia or the Warrens nets 7 karma. If your faction is Evil, every location infused in Paradise or Nimbus also nets 7 karma.

[edit] Faction Bonuses
Faction members receive a 5% bonus to attack, defense, and search on tiles infused to their faction. They also do an additional point of damage with attacks on those tiles. Bonuses are not tied to infusion depth.
Bonus Limitations - The bonus a character receives is limited by their level. The maximum bonus a character can get, per category, is one half their level. In other words, a level 4 character could only receive a +2 bonus in any one category while a level 8 character could receive a bonus of +4.
