You are able to tap into the Holy Word and deliver it through your attacks.
This ability can be used to enhance one of your other attacks. If the attack is successful, significant additional damage will be dealt. The use of this ability requires extra Action Points and the expenditure of Magic Points. If the attack fails, both the Action Points and Magic Points are lost.
A man backed into the bar, yelling for help and aiming his shotgun outside. The Paladin rushed over just in time to see the man shoot three times, and watched the hopelessness enter his face as the shots merely bounced off the repulsive Behemoth's carapace. The Paladin quietly took the shotgun from the man's unresisting arms, and checked its chamber. Three shells.
With his prayer muffled by the powerful report of the shotgun, he fired, and streaks of holy light followed the buckshot into the Behemoth's skin. Its enraged howl was cut short as the Paladin fired again, and again, each blast ripping into the blasphemous creature's shell with Holy power. Finally, the Behemoth took to the air, screaming obscenities and threats even as he beat a retreat.
The Paladin breathed a sigh of relief as he handed the shotgun back to its amazed owner. "Praise Namm, I'm glad these beasts can't count."
