[edit] Who We Are
The Lords of the Underverse have always been there. A seed of darkness within the world, we are the message that life is meaningless, and that only destruction will save this world. Good, evil, free will. None of these mean a thing. Only the fight. The Lords are an incarnation of the nature of the Nexus itself, the meaning behind the meaningless struggle, the reason for the battle. The Lords have been wandering the Nexus for what seems like eons. Originally, they set up shop in the supposed protective shadow of larger allies, such as the Pirates. After realizing that they were but pawns in a much larger game, the Lords left South Germaine for Harper Island. There, over the course of a few weeks, the Lords became embroiled in a war verses the angelhood, represented by the Convent of Nuns.
The first unholy war
Our Lord Karchev the Desolate one's intial skirmish with the Nuns leader while consecrating the surounding grounds for our dark purposes, were but the opening moves in a grand war. The battles raged back and forth between our strongholds with our first preemptive raid being interrupted by a raid from MFD. The Nuns then hit us while we were regrouping and claimed our standard for themselves.
After reestablishing the stronghold, the Lords' retalitory raid was a great success and the Nuns were vanquished. A few days later while on patrol Lord Marshal Komabai interrupted the Nuns' leader trying to rebuild the Nuns stronghold. In a bloody real-time battle he sent her back to commune with her god. Once the Nuns got their stronghold back up the Lords raided again, but when faced with several active paladins most of the raiders were killed. The Lords did regain their standard and their honor in the process, however.
A new home
Harper Island ceased to be a home. The different factions there continued to try to play their games with the Lords, and we tired of it. Our next destination was Northcamp Island, home of the Axis of Evil, a promising organization of like minded factions who we have coexisted with since.

The Lords of the Underverse believe that the only true path is that of man's primal nature...to Kill! We have seen the path to the Underverse and welcome it with eyes open and red, and arms wide and bloody.

- A great victory! Despite an unexpected interference by the foul Ridleybank Resistance front, who tried to steal our glory, our magnificent faction has successfully destroyed the stronghold of the Feral Undead, showing that although very few organized for the battle, even they, most notably Komabai, Goreshade, Go Dai, and Arch Ville. The RFF helped, in a fashion, to remove the feeble Ferals before trying to take our trophy through a sudden ambush, but their treachery was no match for the power of our Lord Marshal Komabai, who taught them that they cannot hide from our power and terror. Now the standard of the Ferals sits in our fortress. All hail the Lords!
September 13,2006
The following information is taken from a message left in the rubble of the Lords' stronghold soon after the nighttime attack. It is believed to have been left by the rogue vigilante and faction member, Rorschach.
- A suprise attack by a group selfnamed, Ridley Bloodline Survivors in conjunction with Ridleytown Resistance Front. Lords of Underverse Standard stolen. RBS claims to be the decendants of one, Jonas Ridley. Hate all forces good and evil. A clan of 9, led by one Spike Ridley.
Addendum: Upon research into Rorschach's theory, we believe we have found the explanation for the attack. There appears to be a movement on behalf of the RRF to cruelly assault factions weaker than them for kicks. The RBS's involvement was possibly accidental, but still enraging. The new stronghold has been created, and vengeance will soon be ours.
September 18, 2006
- Dark times indeed for the Lords. The honorless Ridleytown Resistance Front has once again fouly attacked our hideout, scattering its members, yet leaving behind the trophy of our Standard, which would only give their dishonor a visible sign. Anger runs through the ranks, and a feeling of hopelessness exists in some. Yet hope is there. Our nature is pure, unrelenting. Even if it will take a thousand years, we will teach those who oppose us that to treat the Lords of the Underverse lightly is to sign your own death warrant!
Excerpts from faction member Rorschach.'s journal, scrawled on cheap paper. The ink seems to go a bit funny near the end, turning a dark brownish in color.
September 24
Retribution! The Ridley Bloodline Survivors, the straw men, the stuffed heads are crushed. Lauded Ridley blood spills uselessly into the sewers. Joey the Tooth moved first wearing himself to exhaustion against their wards. Following his example, the Lords threw themselves at the ward. It shattered. Then, began a slaughter of unsuspecting Ridleys within. Nobility, pride and bloodline all useless. They died like any other. Their standard torn from their stronghold. Gorged on death and blood, the Lords are victorious. Vengence is wrought.
September 25
All the power of mewling kittens. The Ridley bloodline must rely on their militia to fight for them. The cowards hid behind the elite of the militia. Send them to reclaim their standard. A letter has been sent to the mewling nobles. "Your bloodline is offal. Reclaim your standard on your own if is it is of any worth. Or are you afraid to face your equals in power and an actual challenge?" The Bloodline of Ridley responds promising attack. They have not as of yet. Wait and see.
September 30
Idiots. They presume the name Crimson Wolves. Beasts have more sense than to bed next to a more powerful predator. Kombabai alone crushed and scattered them.
October 4
A suprise attack. Awoke with a bullet burning into my side. They fought hard but like the fools, they soon exhausted. Their efforts were for nothing. Their leader Hyper Shaman J was among the first to fall at Saffron's cutlass. Steadily picked off one by one. Only the eternal soldiers Devlon Petago and Mr. Woo left. They were tortured till Komabai quickly and brutallly ended their lives.
October 5
Suffer no fools. There are no innocents left in this world. Arch Vile presumes to defy us and leave. So be it. Iron Falcon has had their grace long enough. Ridiculous, you cannot cry ally when you have not even called us one. It only took three of us. Komabai took their barrier. Saffron mutilated them with her cutlass. Only needed my bare hands, now gnarled into bloody claws. So be it. Suffer no fools. --Tosanu 15:24, 6 October 2006 (CDT) (but rorschach wrote most of it....)
