Maquez is currently home to The High Knights of Liberation, who tirelessly maintain a constant vigil over this fair Isle. They have established a protectorate for Good players centered around Liberation Park and Liberation Mall - where they use barricades and wards to keep the mall open for legitimate business. Although the protected area is often breached, it remains one of the safest areas for good or neutral travelers in the Nexus, certainly safer than the surrounding areas.
