Marquai the Constructor

Marquai is the common name for one of the Elder Powers. He is the personification of time and order. He is aligned with Neutrality.
Marquai is sometimes referred to as "Marquai the Constructor". He is nearly always depicted as a simple tradesman. Though his portfolio is not one of violence, Marquai is said to be a keen warrior. Marquai is a patron power of engineers and many Wizards.

The cult language of Marquai is called Urquan and is both a vocal and a somatic language. Nouns are expressed with spoken words (typically with heavy consonants), while actions and verbs are expressed using hand gestures.
The written form of Urquan utilizes Rashallan glyphs.

Marquai's symbol is a simple, strong glyph that represents the ideal of "solid connection". It is possibly descendant from the Rashallan glyph for "wall" (ukta, though in Urquan this glyph means "Sky").

[edit] Gifts
The "power" gifts granted by Marquai to his cult members are:
- Ripple in Time - Cultist may grant 5 Action Points to another character target. Costs 2 AP, 5 MP, 10 HP. Can only be used once a day.
- Longevity of the Day - Increases the cultist's maximum Action Point total by 5 AP.
- Touch of the Tradesman - Items owned by the cultist will no longer degrade.
- Mainspring of Eternity - If the cultist has full Magic Points at the time of tick, he or she will regain an extra Action Point (and spend 1 MP).

- Healing Marquai or Goros cultists.
