  • For 7 AP, the character may create a First Aid Kit, provided the character is inside a Hospital.
  • If the character also has Surgery, this AP cost is reduced to 5 AP.


You are better at healing wounds and are able to cure poisons and disease.

This skill allows the character to cure disease and poison. It also further increases First Aid Kit effectiveness by 5 points for a total of 10 bonus healing and 15 hitpoints healed per F.A.K.

Also, for 7 AP, the character may create a First Aid Kit, provided the character is inside a Hospital. If the character also has Surgery, this AP cost is reduced to 5 AP.

The medic notified the on call doc of the woman's condition, "hemoneumothorax" was just a fancy word for a lung that collapsed from leaking air and blood into the chest cavity. She was stable but had several other bullet wounds across her body. Story was, someone came into the library and sprayed the place with an SMG. She caught most of the shots while reading.

With the lung stable, the next concern was the removal of the bullets and reducing the risk of infection. The medic knew the doc would be here shortly to remove the bullets so he focused on the possible infection. Checking the shelves in the cramped hospital room he found the Levaquin and started a large bore IV in the woman's arm. He pushed 500 mg and waited, that should be enough to stall any infection until the bullets were taken out. He was dressing her other wounds when he noticed a pistol in the waist of her pants. Its slide open, clumsily shoved in her belt. It was obviously emptied recently...

The medic shook his head. "Reading, my ass," he cursed as he moved on to the next patient.
