Mia Tigua is the commonly accepted name for the famous (or infamous, depending) "lost" island of Saint Germaine. It is said that Mia Tigua lay to the North East of Saint Germaine Island. In popular Saint Germaine mythology, Mia Tigua shares similar traits to the "lost continent" of Atlantis.

The name "Mia Tigua" comes from islander polyglot and translates most directly to "My Tomb" or "Our Tomb." It is said that the island was the place of the dead, where the original Amerindian islanders buried their dead priests and kings with great ceremony (commoners were buried along the Northern shore of Northcamp Island). Local mythology states that it was the resting place of the great chief Tazonakka, who was buried with an item of great power (differing legends state that the item was a scepter, or a sword, or a shield). When white explorers came, they heard of this item and sought to steal it from the grave of Tazonakka. However, in doing so, they angered the gods, who destroyed Mia Tigua rather than allow it to fall into heathen hands.

Whether or not the island actually existed is open to scientific debate. Charts made by early explorers to the area show the island; however, the accuracy of such maps can easily be called into question. Attempts by modern explorers to find the ruins of Mia Tigua have met with dismal failure or disaster.
