Namm
From NexusWiki
Namm is the common name for one of the Elder Powers. He is the personification of justice, law, and protection of the weak. He is aligned with Good.
Namm is sometimes referred to as Namm the Vigilant. He is usually depicted as a large, muscular individual dressed in a suit of white armor with a glorious sword. His face is never shown. Namm is the patron of many Paladins and Seraphim.
Namm is often seen as a harsh, unforgiving, and vengeful deity. His cultists are typically comprised of fanatics, and see situations within the light of Fahreen, or "absolute good".

[edit] Language
The language of the cult of Namm is a complicated, extremely precise tongue called Mehaan. The word translates literally as "lawspeech". Mehaan is a difficult language, with an average of seven or more words for even simple concepts or objects (such as water) with up to hundreds for more complicated concepts. For example, there are hundreds of words used to describe particular crimes, each of which depends on how or why the crime was committed.
It is a language heavily steeped in the legal tradition and its written form is exceptionally long-winded.
[edit] Fahreen
The concept of Fahreen is that of absolute good. The word is literally translated as "the absolute", but is nearly always used within the context of moral and ethical consequence. Fahreen is a guiding principle to the cult of Namm.
The term is a curious one when examined within the larger context of the Mehaan language. While most words in Mehaan are very precise and allow for little-to-no confusion, Fahreen can be interpreted as broadly as the speaker (or the listener) chooses.
[edit] Symbol
Namm's symbol represents the two pillars of "Law" and "Justice."
[edit] Shrine

- Charge of the Fahreen - Gains 1 Morality for killing neutral-aligned characters.
- Fury of Justice - Gains 1 Action Point on a successful kill. Only applies to single attacks or spells on demonic or evil-aligned character targets.
- Bulwark of Namm - Grants immunity to Magic Point draining powers.
- Spark of the Fahreen - Cultist no longer incurs a morality change for attacking or killing any character who is not an angel, regardless of the target's alignment.

- Healing Namm or Marquai cultists.
- Sacrificing magical swords.
