This page is used for requesting the deletion of a page on the Nexus War wiki. Only wiki administrators have the ability to delete pages, but any user may ask for a page to be deleted.

(See here for further information about the administrator's duties with regard to deletion of pages.)

[edit] Making a Deletion Request

Deletion requests are to be entered underneath the Current Deletion Queue header, below.

Every deletion request must include the following information:

A link to the page to be deleted.
A reason for deletion.
A signature (with timestamp).

In addition to placing a request on this page, please place the {{Delete}} tag on the top of the page that is being placed for deletion. Please make sure that the original content remains on the page, so that others can judge whether the page is worthy of deletion.

Once a deletion request has been made, it shall remain for two weeks, during which time the request falls under discussion. At the end of this two week period, the administrator will either delete the page (if the discussion seems to warrant it) or remove it from the queue (if the discussion warrants it). It should be noted that the final decision with regards to deletion rests with the administration team, however.

Unused, and an exact duplicate of Template:Thinks Of which currently gets its only use on User:Momo. True ogre also looks like the same thing. How do we want to go about this? In my opinion, Template:Thinks of can be deleted because there exists another version. True ogre looks like an error when trying to make the template, as visible here, and might qualify for the same thing. I don't recall what the ruling was on user-templates, but the entire thing might be just as good placed on the userpage directly. --Teksura 04:12, 9 June 2008 (CDT)

Has not been updated in a year. Nearly every description is inaccurate. Most of the factions listed there probably don't know or have forgotten that the page exists. I only found out because of a member of the EOG read it and was understandably confused. Even if there was interest in keeping it updated, the question of who is a "power" in the Nexus is so open to dispute that it hardly seems like a good idea for a wiki page. We don't delete forgotten faction pages, but, what happens when the content has been removed by the author? It suggests to me that they don't want the page around anymore, but... Did another quick check, Forsaken is also quite active. Please, for corn's sake, check the factions before you declare them non-existent and try to delete their wiki-page. I'd look more into them but, A) You should have done that in the first place Gage. Since Amazing enjoys lying to people and saying that I "urinated on his character" or some such and tells people I abuse my players, I see no reason why I should officially promote his product. I'd like to point out that this is the only page linking to the template - even the General doesn't use the template, although he has similar code on his user page. It's probably eligible for deletion just for that reason, if no other. Personally, I think that we should really nip the whole Template Box thing in the bud here, as much as possible. Because most of the "chatty" section of the community rests on the Forums, having these chatty Template Boxes on here doesn't really seem appropriate.
