[edit] Introduction to your Nightmares
We are the Nightmares and we were first denied entry into the Axis of Evil. We then decided after our Stronghold was taken down by the Axis that we would move to our home plane, Stygia.
During our stay in Stygia we were tormented by The Infernal Horde and The Knights of Arcadia. We now are waiting and recruiting members in order to become a larger faction in the Nexus.
[edit] Demons of Authority
Tael-THE DEFILER- Tael was made to support this faction in all ways that she could, being one of our only spellcasters or infusers at the time the faction was created. It was up to her to get us a stronghold and for that she is a leader.
Shadow Assassin-THE WRAITH- Being a founder of the faction was automatically a leader, but has proved that he was a significant help when we raided the Knights of Arcadia and Deseemius. He has devoted his dark powers to giving nightmares to everyone in the Nexus.
Jorden-THE CORRUPT- Jorden is the reason we hold power over, and draw power from much of Azazel Makha. Jorden joined our faction because of a deal his creator and Tael made. Nevertheless, he has helped us to have bonuses when we truly needed them, and has helped our faction out many times in the few weeks he has been with us. He is also very fond of puppies.
Krakyn-THE LOATHESOME- Krakyn has proven to be a deadly asset to the nightmares. His thirst for blood and invoking fear on others is the sort of thing that nightmares are made of. According to Krakyn, there is no greater joy than to wake someone up out of one nightmare, and, watching them realize that they are now in another.
John the Baker-THE BAKER- A void walker intent on teaching the true way to make bread through bloodshed. Has taught everyone in the faction to spill it all before moving onto the next. Currently traversing the Nexus in search of more blood to make his delicious meals with.

Taepodong-THE EVIL KUNG FU MASTER-He was a significant source of power in the faction by recruiting several people to our faction and because of the suggestions he made. It is unclear what has happened to him at the moment. His banjo music is missed greatly
[edit] The Early Years
When we were young we were assaulted by the Axis while we were trying to gain access, our attackers were The Decepticons and Deseemius. They stole our standard and we were forced to remake our Stronghold. 1 week later we were based out of Stygia and were planning a joint counter-assault.
[edit] Counter Assault
The Nightmares attempt to retrieve our standard was aided by Black Goats with 1000 Young and -Avengers we successfully broke down the ward of Deseemius and the Avengers grabbed our Standard, giving us our first gain of Honor.
[edit] Raid by the Righteous
In our few short months while maintaining a steady home in Stygia which provided relative defensive support against all of our foes, we were raided by the most unlikely of enemies The Knights of Arcadia a faction we had proposed an alliance with in the early years. They barged into our home killed us all and stole our standard.
[edit] Counter Assault on The Knights
Our first counter assault on the Knights was a failure as the time of raid and target leaked out and we were met by 2 Eternal Soldiers and 3 Seraphs all active, we exchanged blows until the fight ended with our assaulters dead and no one left to defend our Stronghold. The Next day our stronghold was full of defenders and we were raided by KOA's Seraph strike team. Two days later we performed a very coordinated counter-strike we took a small strike team consisting of 6 members our faction was 19 members big then, and assaulted their base nearly breaking the ward but couldn't because one of our members had tapped the ward earlier in the day with one of their alts. We were unbothered and left when we had gained enough AP.
[edit] Raided in the Depths of Stygia
During our rebuilding time while fending off attacks from Seraphs and Paladins galore. We were hit hard by a Dark Oppressor from the Infernal Horde. This particular Dark Oppressor was a pain is the ass to kill, he slept in our Stronghold for days and because of this we were left to fend on our own turf while trying to break down the DO in the SH, then we were raided by the Dark Oppressors Guild who took our flag and ran off to another corner of Stygia.
[edit] Our Times in Harper
Our first week in Harper we helped the Avengers gain a spot on Harper to raid from so the at they may lower their honor and get away from the attacking range of the RRF, The OS and The Shiney Pirates. The next day after the Avengers set up their Stronghold. They were raided and the Nightmares helped defend, less than two hours later The Nightmares we raided by the Inversionaries. We then moved to paradise
[edit] Vacation in Paradise
Of course the Nightmares being a relatively small faction and still is a small faction at the time moved to Paradise. We had a jolly old time their as half of our faction being demons without Planar Protection had a helluva time getting to our Stronghold which was at the cottage on the other side of river in the Southeastern City. The raided the Vault many times but sadly we were booted out before we could raid the angels in the nearest cottage.
[edit] The Move to Marshall
After being Raided at Harper and on our vacation, we moved to Marshall to raid a relatively small faction and then move back. However our unfortunate luck screwed us over again and we were raided by Paradox. So we got screwed and didn't have a stronghold for a couple weeks.
[edit] Two Person Raid on the Inversionaries
First this raid wasn't even planned. Tael and Shadow_Assassin saw that The Inversionaries had set up their Stronghold about 3 spaces away from our Stronghold and then Tael decided that we were going to raid them on the spot so, Shadow Assassin Waited until Tael took down most of the Ward and then using his Blood Claws destroyed the ward wandered inside and found out that there was only one person inside so that person's entrails were ripped out and eaten while Shadow Assassin grabbed their flag and walked slowly on home.
[edit] Axis of Evil
We joined the Axis of Evil after being raided by Soldiers of Duat. We have joined the axis in order to gain control of Harper and establish the Evil presence that the Axis brings with them
[edit] Deal with the Devil
Having faced relentless assault along with other axis factions on Harper, we pulled out. Going back to Stygia, we felt it necessary to pay homage to the current rulers of the plane, The Dark Oppressor's Guild. With them by our side, we will slowly begin to rise in power in the Nexus.
[edit] First Raid out of Hell
Planning this raid nearly a week ahead of time, The Nightmares succeeded is raiding the League of Science Heroes, only three people made the raid, we arrived and put all of our AP into destroying the ward and when it appeared to be a lost cause, suddenly a large towering cow appears out of the sky. Another Cow proceeds in reinforcing us by destroying the ward and slaying the Tier 3 inside the Stronghold, Shadow Assassin killed one person and Another Cow killed the last remaining member and took the standard giving us 10 honor. This raid was a success due to the sheer power of a Cow!
[edit] Operation:Spread Insanity
This operation was planned out on January 22. We successfully raided 6 factions in one week. Our first target was The Groundskeepers of Paradise, sadly this faction is now forgotten, We busted the ward in a matter of minutes and slaughtered every single self-righteous angelic bastard in there. The second raid's target was the Grey Knights this raid took place less than 15 minutes after the raid on the Groundskeepers of Paradise. The third target was the Christopher Lee Appreciation. This raid was accomplished by Jorden who was contacted by Balance. The fourth raid was against the Silent Order on Friday January 26th. We had a little trouble with Petmasters and high soaking Wizards on this raid, but nevertheless Tael's Agony Curse came through for us as an excellent soak breaker and we killed off the Silent Order's defenders little by little. The fifth raid was against, The Circle. We busted down the ward and found out that there was two active Seraphs inside. Tael's Agony cursing and poisons quickly put an end to their valiant defense. We all ended up APing out with the only defender left being a level 5 Mortal. Suddenly Jorden appeared with reinforcement puppies, sad to say the Hellhounds quickly ripped the mortal to shreds. Our final raid was on Friday January 31st. We raided the Cool Guy Crew with little trouble and grabbed their flag. This so ended Operation:Spread Insanity, we accomplished our goal and over the entire operation gained 74 honor.
