Operation Rattlesnake

Operation Rattlesnake took place on May 6th, 2006. Only the second major battle in Nexus War history, the Operation marked the first time in which multiple factions, in this case The Claw and The League of Science-Heroes, mounted a unified assault on another rival faction, The Faithful. About a week before the attack, the League had converted to neutral alignment, making them less visible to the good-aligned Faithful as a threat. However, on the day of the attack, members of the Claw were revealed to have been quartered in territory controlled by the League. Aided by a small group of the Science-Heroes, who had now shown their true colors and returned to evil alignment, they attacked and destroyed the enemy base. Although minor casualties were sustained, mostly from a Divine Champion who had got wind of the attack and attacked the preparation area, the wards protecting the Faithful's stronghold were successfully dispelled or destroyed, and the entire group who had been inside (at least 20 angels and good-aligned mortals) were slain.
