The Overpowered Republic was created on the 17th of November 2007 following turbulent times in OVERPOWERED. The creator of OPR, Screwed Up Minds, former leader of OVERPOWERED left due to attempts on her life by spais implanted into OVERPOWERED. There were earlier threats against the Queen following the great OP civil war but they were dismissed untill sacred artifacts started going missing and someone had poisoned the milk. It is believed that these infiltrators were filthy Sith Spais.

[edit] Leader stuff
The faction was founded by the great Queen Screwed Up minds, although this is a republic she kept her title as queen and leads her people both as a diplomat and a warrior. She is the elected official of the faction and deals with all matters, untill such a time she is to be replaced. She was elected as faction head on 17th November, coincidentally the faction memberbase was at a total of one and she got 100% of the votes. The next election is said to be planned for some time in 2010.
The Queen often appears in red, as the symbol of the Queen is a red tree. The tree because the home of Overpowered Republic is located near a forest and the Republic's ancient tradition of tree clubbing (Where OPR DC's run around with trees clubbing nootrals and demunz with them) and the red simply because it hides the blood stains when the Queen goes out hunting.

Screwed Up minds, upon drinking from a bottle with a funny coloured liquid, decided to take a trip away from the Republic. She is said to be skipping and frolicing around paradise in delirius joy. In the meantime however, a wizard(believed to be a filthy demun in disguise) as taken control of the faction untill her return. RUUN, RRUUUUUN AWAY!

In a total black hole of AWESOME!!! the warriors of the Overpowered Republic took down the three biggest factions in the Nexus!!!
FIRST, the Pirates of R'lyeh were slain on charges of all pirtatey and singing YO HO! when the Queen was trying to sleep! We killed THEM ALL! We let them keep their flag though because it didn't match the Queen's bedsheets and smelled like grog.
SECOND, Oblivion Squadron was brought to its knees with much wailing and moaning! Very few were actually killed in the raid because most of OS threw themselves into the void upon news that such an AWESOME force approached! ALL THAT REMAINED DIED! We tried to take their flag but it was covered in WYRM MASTER GOO! and was really icky. So we left it.
THIRD, we slaughtered the Alliance of St. Germaine! The OVER POWEREDNESS of the warriors of the Overpowered Republic was too OVERPOWERING and their own pets turned against them when they saw the light OF OUR AWESOMENESS!!!! We only had to stand there and eat COOKIES while their own creations tore them limb from limb! As we reached for their flag one of them ATE IT in the his last gasps of life and when we got it out it was covered in SERAPH OIL! and wouldn't stay on the wall.

On this day, a vast army of 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ticks latched themselves onto the large forehead of our leader Captain Trips. As Captain Trips fought each of them one by one with a wet towel, a Naughty boy from up Northcamp way snuck in a walloped Caaptain Trips over the head with a feather. With the leader out of action, The doors to the SH were pushed wide open and

[edit] 14 May 2008: We can has raid pls?
On this day the Leader Captain Trippy called a raid for a time that was apparently a inconvienience for the other members. As such only two other members turned up, resulting in a raid crew consisting of a Seraph, a Divine champion and a flakey wizard. "Who can we raid with this rabble?! Is there anyone still in valhoola?!" It was then decided the target would be The Coven, who has raided the Republic a few days before and had a flag from a previous occassion. Upon reaching the target the three person raid crew were so excited at just getting the ward down that all jumped in to smite nootraldemunz and forgot to utter a word. The leader was heard to cry afterwards "DID ANYONE EMOTE? 'CAUSE I GOT CAUGHT UP IN SMITING" and was met with a response with the factions newly acquired Seraph "WE EMOTE?". YES, YES WE DO NUB. Except today though, apparently.

We now have a mascot, Conan the Barbarian. He's overpowered, and spent all his time killing demons and monsters and underpowered evil mortals. He also rides on a polar bear sled. How overpowered is that? NUT VERY, THATS HOW OVERPOWERED HE IZ. WHAR R THE EFELANTS!!! ALL DA KOOL KIDZ RIED ON EFALENTS. EFALENTS TOTALLY TRAMPLE STINKY BEARS EVER DAY OF TEH WEAK! TRUMPET!!!!!!

This is our OVERPOWERED!! PET OF DOOM! Her name is FLUFFY OF OBLIVION! She likes BANANAS! FEAR HER! She is the Queen's most favoritest thing in the nexus! The Queen likes to hug and... I mean watch her tear the enemies of Overpowered APART! WITH DOOM!

Maybe, if we like you enough. Also depends on the reason. We may accept an offer of being allies if we share something in common, there is something to gain from it or we can do themed events and raids. That kinda thing.

Probably. Or maybe we just like the look of your flag, or maybe we don't like you and like your flag. If you want that changed you can speak with us and something might be worked out.
