You are capable of repairing many items that have been damaged.
This skill allows the character to repair any non-magical item or weapon. The character is not able to bring the item's quality above "average" with this skill. Repairing some items will require the use of special components (which will be consumed in the process of repair). The character may require access to special facilities (such as a Factory forge) to repair some items. See Crafting for more details on the specific prerequisites for each type of item.
This skill also grants the character the ability to craft certain types of Ammunition (see below).

"So... can you fix it?"
The handyman at the local shop surveyed the bolt action rifle in his hands, an objective eye running across the abuse the weapon suffered in its last battle. "Let's see..." the handyman lazily drawled, a counterbalance to the Mortal's impatient plea, "cracked butt stock, bolt's jammed with dirt, trigger's wrecked. She needs more help than I can give her."
The Mortal looked aghast. "I just need to get it shooting again. Can you make it work for the time being?"
The handyman sighed. "It'll be a slapjob, but it'll shoot straight and true. I can duct tape the rifle stock intact, clean out the barrel and bolt, and replace the spring on the trigger with something else. One hour and a can of chili con carne, and we have a deal."
With a wide grin, the Mortal shook hands with the handyman and handed over the rifle. "That's all I really need. Thanks!"
