Saint Germaine Island
From NexusWiki
As far as is currently known, Saint Germaine Island is the largest island in the Saint Germaine Archipelago. It is home to the vast majority of the Principality's population, industry, entertainment facilities, governmental infrastructure, and commerce.
The island bears a striking resemblance to a turkey drumstick, when viewed with your head titled at an unnatural angle. Most all of the housing, commerce, and government buildings are in the "meat" of the island. The "bone" contains most of the less desirable types of structures: slums, dockyards, and adult entertainment areas.
Saint Germaine Island is surrounded by a number of smaller islands. Ridley Island and Wright's Island are located off the northern coast. Liana Island can be found off the northeastern shores, and Tague Island sits just north of the southernmost tip of Saint Germaine Island.
Twelve neighborhoods call Saint Germaine Island home. In alphabetical order they are:
- Blackport
- Caspian Heights
- Chuckwagon
- Clifton
- Downtown
- Eastshore
- Edgetown
- Jonestown
- Marshall
- South of Vine
- Southton
- The Wrench
In addition to all the man- made structures, Saint Germaine Island boasts a fair share of natural wonders and beauty. Parks, forests, and grasslands dot the island, and Clifton Lake occupies a prominent place in the central part of the isle.
