[edit] Case Archives

[edit] July 2006

  • July 30: The Republicans, forgetting that their job was to DEFEND the U.S. Constitution, and not alter it to suit their own whims, were charged and tried in a bloody attack on their stronghold. No Sentinel casualties were reported, and there was no defense to speak of on the part of the Republicans. Perhaps they somehow knew they were breaking the law? StarStormCat, as the taker of the standard, has deemed it to be used as toilet paper. After all, that's all the Repubs are good for, right?

[edit] August 2006

  • August 5: Responding to a complaint by The Divine Slayers that rent was overdue on their standard, we joined them in an attempt to evict the Undeadites from their stronghold. The attack went well, but with some casualties. We retrieved The Divine Slayers' standard for them, and the Undeadites' standard was taken by The Divine Slayers as payment to the plaintiff.
  • August 6: In revenge for the attack on the Undeadites, or perhaps due to the fact that they did not like officers in their midst, the Axis of Evil attacked and destroyed our precinct house. The Decepticons, Soldiers of Duat, and Citadel Station Redshirts were identified as the attackers, and the Republicans' standard was removed from its place in our evidence room. Later, a Soldier of Duat was witnessed wearing our prized shield as a cape, which was probably really uncomfortable.
  • August 10: Charged with theft and possession of stolen property (as well as the unlawful killing of several officers), we attacked the Soldiers of Duat with the assistance of Acta Sanctorum and The Divine Slayers. Acta Sanctorum retrieved our shield for us (which will now need polishing, what the hell did you SoD's do to it?!?), and we took their standard as penalty. From there, we moved on to eliminate Black Goat With 1000 Young, having charged them as accessories to the Soldiers of Duat's crimes. This trial went as well as the trial against the SoD, with very little defense of note, as well as no casualties reported. Personally, I have to wonder: with the Ridleytown Resistance Front's attack on the -Avengers and The Decepticons, does this mean the end for the Axis of Evil in Northcamp Island?
  • August 12: Welp, we've pulled up stakes and have moved to a factory in The Wrench. It pains us to have left Iverson, but this choice is logistically sound. We're not running away from Iverson, but this choice makes things pretty much easier for us.
  • August 19: The Soldiers of Duat really don't know how to keep their noses clean, do they? Responding to a complaint of standard theft made by Among all there are few, the Sentinels and The Divine Slayers attacked the SoD, slaying all inside as penalty for their crimes. Of course, the Among's standard was retrieved by the Sentinels, and the SoD standard taken by The Divine Slayers. Soldiers? For the love of all that's unholy, at least TRY to keep on the right side of the law this time.

[edit] September 2006

  • September 5: After a pair of aborted busts, the Sentinels successfully busted the Wehrmacht. They were charged with several war crimes, as well as the theft of the standard of the Wright's Corridor Free Clinic. The Clinic's standard was retrieved quickly (despite the Wehrmacht's apparent attempt to sabotage the bust), and after a short, but tense time, the Wehrmacht flag was taken and requisitioned to the evidence room (which is so totally not the supply closet where we keep rags to clean the toilets with).
  • September 9: Realizing that The Edgetown Original Gangsters were... well, too badass for us with our current armament (don't tell them that, though), we contracted the Blood Hawk Brigade to retrieve our shield for us. It cost us 10 gold ingots, and our shield looks like someone cooked drugs on it, but we're satisfied.
  • September 14: Responding to a complaint of a horde of zombies smashing and looting from the northern Wrench, the Sentinels successfully busted the Feral Undead, taking their standard for the evidence room. While I had not entered the stronghold, from what I was told, there were few criminals inside and defense was poor.

[edit] October 2006

  • October 23: We've been quiet... there are reasons for that. But our station house was attacked by a horde of undead from the Crypt Lords of Hashaa. Crypt Lords, you have absolutely NO idea what horrors you have invited upon yourself, and you'll find that even Hashaa cannot save you from the law.

[edit] November 2006

  • November 11: We've been quiet, yes. But nothing rallies officers like the unjustified murder of a peaceful officer. As such, the Eternals were forcibly removed from the Wrench. Sadly, I didn't get the kill I wanted, but I'm satisfied, for now. As for the Eternals... well, maybe you guys should leave people alone when they're talking to the Ragged Philanthropists. You never know who you piss off when you don't.
  • November 19: Early in the morning, a party of four Sentinels successfully raided and demolished the stronghold of Black Goat With 1000 Young, with three of the Sentinels clearing out most of the stronghold easily. This is in retribution for some insults passed at me. While I didn't get to do much, as the others killed everyone (which is kinda sad), I find my honor avenged, although it might be worth another visit sometime, so I can properly Death Cloud the stronghold. Hopefully, this precedes a reorganization of the Sentinels raiding structure, and will allow us to be more efficent in our punishment of lawbreakers. It certainly gives me hope.

[edit] December 2006

  • December 6: A rather late edit, but on December 06, 2006, the Sentinels decided to let the Axis of Evil know that we were still kicking. As such, a small team was dispatched toward them, and they successfully captured the standard of the Demonic Coalition.

[edit] January 2007

  • January 19: The Sentinels' SH got trashed. Again. This time it was by an Oblivion Squadron strike team. While we don't quite have the resources to handle them now, I hope they are treating our shield respectfully. I also hope they know that I'll find a way to make them pay for it.

[edit] Feburary 2007

  • Feburary 18: Perhaps, in revenge for the several officer's attempts at shutting down their "lemonade stand" (where angels either served tainted lemonade or outright attacked people), The Asylum attacked and slew several officers in thier sleep, primarily those of a non-good morality. Next, they will try beating on a hornet's nest.
  • Feburary 23: In response to the raid five days prior, The Asylum has been charged with assulting (and murdering) several officers, assualting (and murder) of civilians, and selling tainted lemonade. The Asylum's business license has been revoked, and stronghold standard taken in penalty.
  • Feburary 26: Seijirou, Reklaw, and Rine, deciding a visit with our neighbors The A-Team would be nice, paid a visit to their stronghold. The A-Team mysteriously dropped dead, however, and with lack of anything better to do, they took the standard for safekeeping. All because we are concerned about our neighbors.

[edit] March 2007

  • March 1: Learning that The Asylum had set up its' "lemonade stand" again, we raided and searched their premises. Lab testing of their lemonade has determined that their lemonade was tainted with the substance known as Angel's Tears. Sadly, there was no business license to revoke, so we satisfied ourselves by taking their standard anew.
  • March 2: The GMT Breakfast Club, obstensibly in collusion with The Asylum, raided our precinct house and slew every officer inside, stealing our prized shield... right after I polished it. It had better be polished when I get it back.
  • March 6: The Asylum, now deciding that the only way to keep officers from shutting down their "lemonade stand" was to kill every officer they could, raided our precinct house and slew every officer inside, and stole our shield, as well as retook the standards we kept in the evidence room. Well, if it helps them sleep at night... and we just made a new one too...
  • March 8: The GMT Breakfast Club has been charged with theft of Sentinel property, vandalizing the Sentinel precinct house, and the murder of numerious officers. In response to these charges, we attacked their home base in Ridleytown and arrested all GMT Breakfast Club members inside. As their standard seemed to be lonely, we decided to put it in our evidence room, where it will have plenty of company.
  • March 9: Apparently, the GMT Breakfast Club thought that the company of their standard wasn't good enough for them (which may be a point, they ARE the standards of criminal organizations), so they attacked our precinct house with the intent of liberating it. No fatalities are reported, however we are still on edge. According to officers witnessing the scene, The Black Mambas helped them in this attack.
  • March 23: Responding to charges of terrorist threats and disruptive noise, Bailiff Clash and Bailiff Reklaw were dispached to investigate the Night-Time Casanovas. After breaching the stronghold and subduing all suspects inside, they proceeded to discover documents detailing upcoming attacks on civilians in the Wrench, most notably in the Ragged Philanthropists fortress. Upon finding this evidence, the two officers proceeded to cordon off the crime scene and awaited Sheriff Kenji's approval for punishment. The Night-Time Casanovas have been penalized by revocation of their Stronghold license and standard, as well as their party license. They are further forbidden to operate in the Wrench until they take and pass a government-approved anger-management course, desist in making threats toward the law-abiding citizens of the Wrench, and realize that one does not have to have thier stereo volume on full blast to hear it. Both Bailiff Clash and Bailiff Reklaw have recieved commendations for their active work in enforcing the rule of law in the Wrench.

[edit] April/May 2007

Note: The recent case archives have been lost and cannot be posted. This is due to damage taken in several attacks on the precinct house, and not at all due to the archivist accidentally using the archives for Aether Wave scrolls.

[edit] June 2007

  • June 6: Our precinct house was attacked without provocation by The Friends of English Magic. Action against them will be described in the June 7 entry.
  • June 7: Two Sentinels (Catharsis and StarStorm) attacked The Friends of English Magic's Paradise Stronghold early in the morning. With considerable tactical creativity (which will not be detailed as that is confidential information), we arrested no less that 23 suspects. Due to extenuating circumstances, their stronghold license could not be revoked. However, we feel that the Friends will be far more inclined to respect lawful authorities from now on. However, we will be monitoring the Friends' activities until we are certain that they have fully committed themselves to the law.
