Special Attack

A Special Attack is an attack that is purely magical in nature and does not use a weapon. Special attacks may only be used against other characters, and may not be used against pets.
Most special attacks are touch attacks, requiring that the attacker land a "fist" attack on the target. A few, however (such as Whisper of the Thousand Teeth) are ranged and may be used versus flying targets.
Most special attacks inflict some form of Status Effect. Nearly all consume Magic Points (one notable exception being Dark Heart).
