Effect(s)

The character is able to sacrifice his or her life in exchange for healing all Good characters in the location. The caster will die in the process of using this power.

You are capable of sacrificing your own life so that others may become stronger.

Upon activation of this power, the Advocate immediately dies. However, the number of Hit Points he or she has remaining divided by two (rounded down) is immediately applied to all Good characters in the location. This ability does not allow receiving characters to go above their maximum Hit Points, however. This ability costs 10 Magic Points to activate.

For example, an Advocate with 65 Hit Points activates Sublime Sacrifice. He immediately dies and must respawn; however: every other Good character in the location immediately heals 32 Hit Points (65 / 2 = 32.5, truncated to 32).

This death will also trigger Martyr's Death.

The team of paladins gathered, exhausted. The portal was only yards away, but the demons guarding it would make short work of their wounded forms. They turned to the Advocate leading them, just as he fell to the ground in a burst of light. As the demons closed in, the Advocate's unseeing eyes beheld his renewed forces smash through the foul creatures, and escape to safety. His soul smiled in the Void, his greatest duty was performed.
