Doesn't this strike anyone else as a touch overpowered? 7 soak at level 18? Are you kidding me?

Nope. Doesn't strike me as overpowered at all. Divine Armor, after all, is one of the major perks of Paladin-hood. -- Odd Starter A 22:23, 11 August 2006 (CDT)

It's WAY over powered. Major perk of paladin hood? Of course it is, it's easily the most unfair, imbalanced thing in the game, who wouldn't want 7 soak at level 18? All it does is make it very difficult for combat oriented characters to level up, because a large amount of the population goes pally just to get this over powered skill. I have a pally, it's the reason I got one. The skill is incredibly over powered and should be nerfed to be honest. PerfectChaosZero

Why? If we're claiming this, then Myrmidons should not be given Enhanced Senses at Tier-2, nor should Pariahs be given Blood Claws at Tier-2. Paladins aren't unbeatable with Divine Armour, indeed, noone's armour is unbeatable anymore. Pariahs, another extremely popular Tier-2 Class, have every single tool required to crack open a Paladin's Armour and feast on the gooey flesh within. Besides, your comments are now outdated, Divine Armour no longer grants 7 soak to anything at Level 18, thanks to the game-wide tamping down of all Divine armour. -- Odd Starter A 20:58, 25 March 2007 (CDT)
