Once again - AWESOME ART. Good job, keep it up! Garcian Smith 15:13, 15 August 2006 (CDT)
[edit] It's a Aethersprite! It's a Judgemaster! NO! It's Super-Angel!!!
Considering that flight is no longer a rare skill or ability, I was wondering why the DC has both Cloak of Air and Wings. I know that they are different flying powers, and Angels do have wings and all... BUT... it seems silly someone is going to spend 60CP on both. Sooo... ya. --Dachibi 01:36, 16 August 2006 (CDT)
- If you read up on them you'd see there is a big difference between Cloak of Air and Wings.
Wings are primarily a means of cheap travel and useful for getting around all forms of obstacles, with the exception of Wards. It is secondarily a means of evasion from grounded, HtH/melee aggressors. However, any aggressor with ranged combat or the power of flight can attack any winged character.
Cloak of Air is primarily a defensive form against *all* non-magical attacks. Pure combat classes such as Eternal Soldier, Infernal Behemoth and Seraph must rely on charged attacks to even stand a chance of hitting a character in this form. Spell Casters, of course, should be able to rely on offensive spells to hit the target, but all non-magical attacks are useless against this form. It is secondarily a form of travel, being able to overcome the same obstacles as Wings, and is also able to seep through the gaps in locked doors to get inside/outside. Moving while in this form is not as AP efficient as using Wings. --Kibbs 03:19, 16 August 2006 (CDT)
