this is probably a question as frequently asked as any, but... one of my characters sucks for no apparent reason. see image for details. http://wiki.nexuswar.com/images/b/b7/Why.JPG there wasn't any zerging, or other problems on my end, so why does this one character constantly get only half of the advertised hit percentage?

While most game questions on the wiki eventually get answered, the forum is generally a better place to pose them - it allows for easier discussion and is more visible than the talk pages here. Keep in mind that all characters have a degree of Defense which allows them to avoid Attacks. If your target had Dodge, Martial Arts, and belonged to a Faction with a Defense bonus you would have less than 30% accuracy - perhaps around 20% to 25%. And then there's the sad truth that sometimes luck just isn't on our side. As a new player some of the options available to increasing your accuracy: purchasing the "child" combat skill, using a "pristine" weapon, and joining a Faction with an Attack bonus. --Lint 01:49, 15 June 2007 (CDT)
