Talk:Kiss of the Clouds
From NexusWiki
I recently witnessed several people die in a building from sudden lightning bolts from the sky. I was under the impression that they were Jorm-bolts, seeing as how no killer was revealed. But upon reading this, the bolt comes from the sky? Reasonably, wouldn't it be a safe assumption that someone calling a lightning bolt from the sky onto someone could remain anonymous? So, long question short, now that I've explained why I'm asking: does this spell reveal the character's name to the room when it kills someone? Stupid question, yes, but when anti-multi abuse measures take the form of a lightning bolt, it's always more prudent to ask. Especially when a tool of anonymous murder could be a VERY interesting play mechanic from both an RP perspective, and from an "damn, I'm an evil bastard" perspective.--Craer 15:03, 24 January 2007 (CST)
- I believe it does, not sure as none of my characters has it but it's a safe bet. And yes the ones you saw were Jorm-bolts. --Deras 13:06, 28 January 2007 (CST)
[edit] Conflicting spell info
The Offensive Spells page lists Kiss of the Clouds as having an MP Cost of 8, but the spell's own page lists an MP Cost of 12. Which is correct? I have a feeling the page indicating 12 MP for 15 DMG on a non-autohit spell is incorrect. --Gdogg 01:54, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
