Judging by the timestamp of this comment and the timestamp of this forum post of a player achieving Tier 2 solely through picking locks, this does not appear to be the case. --Lint 11:47, 5 August 2006 (CDT)

From the Set of Lockpicks entry... "The character does not need to possess the Lockpicking skill to attempt lockpicking; however, the chances of successful picking are low without it." Has there been any compilation of success rates for the three lockpicking scenarios?
