So, the critical hit %... Is that 5% of ALL attacks, or is it 5% of attacks that hit?--Craer 20:05, 13 December 2006 (CST)

  • Is there a difference? 5% of getting a critcal hit on a miss is 1.5 x 0 damage = 0 damage (a miss). --Wcil 12:36, 14 December 2006 (CST)
It's a valid question. If it's five percent of all hits, you'll get a critical 5% of the total times you click the attack button. If it's 5% of attacks that hit, then you'll get them (your hit percentage * 5%) of that amount, likely to be somewhere around 3-4% of the total.--Skaramuche 20:06, 14 December 2006 (CST)
5 percent of all attacks would also be five percent of any subset of attacks. The missing one to two percent above would be critical misses, as above above, 1.5 * 0, effectively the same. (apparently this discussion happened a year ago, but as long as it's up...)Maurice 11:29, 29 November 2007 (CST)

"the raw moral factions of Good and Evil are closed to them." - Just to confirm, is this referring to the Divine Army and Infernal Horde? Other aligned factions certainly aren't closed to them, or am I missing something? --Razmus 21:18, 19 February 2008 (CST)

"Choosing this class means that the character can never ascend to a Divine class or descend to an Infernal one: the raw moral factions of Good and Evil are closed to them." is the entire quote and it answers your question. Simply put: you can't become any of the Paladin, Sheperd, Defiler, or Pariah exits. It has nothing to do with factions. Although if you check the Wiki pages for the Divine Army and the Infernal Horde you'll see the requirements to join one of these special factions.
