It says it affects maximum damage dealt by AoE spells. Does this mean that a new maximum (25% higher) is calculated, and all damage is between 1 and that maximum? Or is damage calculated and then the 25% bonus applied? If an AoE spell does maximum 8 damage per person, will it deal 1d10 damage per person or floor(1.25 * 1d8) damage? With rounding this could matter a lot.

Is my math wrong? Should the line "not 16 points (which would mean Nexus Empowerment was applied after the bonuses)." not be change to "not 15 points ..."? --Razmus 14:23, 18 February 2008 (CST)
