Extended Invisibility Duration Again. The chart says 8 hours but I used one less than 4 hours ago and it was gone when I logged back in. Nor was I killed in between. Was the duration of ExInvis nerfed in the last upgrade? --Kyllian 14:57, 17 March 2007 (CDT)

Maybe someone revealed you? I'll check it out with one of my characters though. --DJFrank 15:59, 17 March 2007 (CDT)
I checked this for you, it lasts 8 hours for me. Perhaps someone revealed you but were unable to subsequently attack/kill you because they were allied? --sKs 15:39, 18 March 2007 (CDT)
I just confirmed this too. --DJFrank 23:43, 18 March 2007 (CDT)

Colorfied it. I spent a good half an hour adding color to the table to a otherwise boring chart. As for the minor tables, I kind of left it to the ol' noggin on which colors to use, forgetting that each potion had a particular color. I kind of like it the way it is. Also, cause I'm getty lazy. :) --Cpryd001 21:25, 25 December 2006 (CST)

Do we want to organize potions by their Sense Magic name or their color? -Sauth 08:52, 12 April 2006 (CDT)

What does "Buff/Debuff" mean? Is this a term specific to NW, or a general game term? --Dickie Fux 12:49, 2 June 2006 (CDT)

Wikipedia knows everything. --Brizth 12:56, 2 June 2006 (CDT)

Are Potions of Poison and Potions of Magic Recovery really both identified as "Blue Potion"? I recently found a bottle of "Clear Blue Potion" and I'm wary of taking a sip from it. Additionally, the Potion of Invisibility is described in the article as being a "Glowing Orange Liquid". Is it actually described in-game as such or is it "Potion" like the others? --Lint 13:35, 7 July 2006 (CDT)

I found out that extended invis was Dull Orange- Mirage Bot

I added a table for potions by color/description, to make it easier to look up unknown potions for those without Sense Magic. --Kyllian 20:42, 16 October 2006 (CDT)

Potions of Haste: I recall reading somewhere that Jorm might add potions of Haste (Way of Lightning), any new information on this? --Dachibi 19:50, 16 October 2006 (CDT)

You'll know whether or not they're in the game if they show up in a changelog. Until then, there will be no new information.--Jorm 19:05, 24 October 2006 (CDT)

Extended Invisibility lasts eight hours? I don't think so. I didn't log exactly when I drank it, but based upon the time that it faded (and my subsequent death 1 minute later) I'd say it only lasts six hours. Anyone else wish to confirm? --Fargmania 18:20, 24 October 2006 (CDT)

  • Extended Invisibility does last eight hours. This is certain. I'm to believe that since you were killed very quickly after the potion "faded", what probably happened was you fell upon a stroke of bad luck and someone used Reveal wherever it was you were hiding. Reveal negates the effects of Invisibility, and so you were revealed to your killer-to-be. --Kibbs 19:37, 24 October 2006 (CDT)

Should we put the recipies on this page or is there another one serving that pourpose already? --Slith 08:39, 23 November 2006 (CST)

We already have one, here. They are kept separated on purpose, some people consider them spoilers and want to search for the recipes themselves. --Brizth T A 09:49, 23 November 2006 (CST)

Fire Resistance. Doesn't this one just give a +5 or so soak against fire damage instead of what the page says, complete immunity? Twigler 12:26, 21 January 2007 (CST)

The Table A new table should be devised with only the types of descriptions. Then the potions should probably be de-colored to a standard white. Or a different color with each potion to differentiate them. IMHO -- ramby 00:53, 1 May 2007 (CDT)

Can someone tell me why almost all of the potion durations are either instantaneous or time, but strength has an AP duration? --AlexanderRM 19:16, 8 December 2007 (CST)

Is the Fire Resistance potion still a 1 hour duration? It seems odd that it would last longer than the Fire Immunity potion now that the immunities have been shortened. --Bugblatterbeast 10:03, 10 May 2008 (CDT)

I did an experiment and yes, the Fire Resistance does, in fact, last 1 hour!--Bugblatterbeast 12:30, 13 May 2008 (CDT)

Sorry, so is there a table of descriptions for the potions? And also, are the colours here randomly picked? My character without Sense Magic drank a foul-smelling red potion by accident today and found it was a Planar Protection. -- User:Ashnazg 0916, 31 August 2008 (GMT)

The colors and smells of potions are randomly assigned. Historically, one could tell the potion by the color and smell, but that is no longer true. Sense Magic will let you know what a potion is without drinking it.--Bugblatterbeast 13:18, 31 August 2008 (CDT)
