Does the ranged strike ability of Staff of Power use the Spell Combat/Battle Magic ranged skill group or one of the other ranged groups (thrown, archery, etc)? --Frank Ricard 10:12, 18 May 2008 (CDT)

Found the answer on the forums. Ranged strike uses the spell combat tree. --Frank Ricard 16:52, 20 May 2008 (CDT)
