Which weapons affect a shward? Is weapon damage a factor? How much damage does a hit deal--as much as the weapon normally would, or a percentage of the level as UD barricades?--Skaramuche 08:27, 23 June 2006 (CDT)

Stronghold wards don't have soak, and all the weapons do maximum damage. Spells do not do damage to wards.--Prague 15:01, 8 July 2006 (CDT)

Not a really pressing question since it will be quite some time until the 60,000 stronghold safe limit is reached. But is that number the maximum "weight" it can hold or the maximum "items" it can hold? --Lint 14:52, 8 July 2006 (CDT)

Hard to say with certainty until someone hits it, but since the safe does not have a line listed for weight, the assumption is that it is a limit on distinct items - Dinobobicus 09:44, 18 August 2006 (CDT)

Right now, the current faction ward regeneration rate is given as "((1/2+(1/x))/2" but I think it's supposed to be "((1/2)+(1/x))/2". Can anyone verify that? --Dickie Fux 17:48, 16 October 2006 (CDT)

Right now the formula for amount regenerated for the ward in the stronghold is 50x^2 + 125x + 50. This formula gives the correct amount for a level 1 faction, but for every other faction this number is higher than the total HP the ward has. I feel the formula needs fixed or removed. --Ralse 12:14, 1 December 2006 (CST)

I changed the total HP per hour to what the other two formulas imply. I assume that's the formula that's wrong, because you can't have HP regen increase as the square of level on a ward whose total strength only increases linearly. --Dan 22:11, 4 February 2007 (CST)

Does adding a medical bay give you the ability to find FAKs in the stronghold? If not, what does it do?--Dalmund 19:16, 31 May 2008 (CDT)

A medbay allows the people to use the Surgery skill, heal 5 additional points with an FAK when having the surgery skill, and for people with First Aid to craft FAKs.--Bugblatterbeast 21:30, 31 May 2008 (CDT)
You mean Medicine?--Dalmund 09:49, 1 June 2008 (CDT)
You are correct. I meant Medicine not First Aid.--Bugblatterbeast 18:20, 1 June 2008 (CDT)

[edit] Upgrades

  • Level 1: +50 HP (100 honor)
  • Level 2: +50 HP (200 honor) Level 6 Faction required
  • Level 3: +100 HP (300 honor) Level 8 Faction required
  • Level 4: +100 HP (400 honor) Level 10 Faction required
  • Level 5: +200 HP (500 honor) Level 12 Faction required

Are the ward upgrades. However, according to this page, a wards strength can be increased by x 2 honour. Therefore, why would they spend 500 honor, to get 200 HP, when it should equal 100 HP? --Peterbluer 14:12, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

Honor also increases faction level, and people don't like being being overly high level for their size as it makes them a target for high level and high membership factions. Carrying around a bunch of honor is like painting a target on your faction's back in some cases. So they spend it to lower their factional level and to save themselves from constant raids.--Gage 23:16, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
