I just had an idea while I was setting up my faction page, as to whether the template could include faction IRC channel and faction forum. (perhaps this could be optional or something, I don't know how flexible these templates are. What you guys think? --Lottuk 05:09, 27 September 2007 (CDT)

Sure, it's possible. I'll have to check a few things before I'll replace the faction template though. Quite a few pages use it and I don't want to break them all. --Brizth 11:46, 27 September 2007 (CDT)

This template pre=dates factional honor, is it possible to add honor to the Template without it screwing up all of the existing pages that use this Template? --Teksura 18:17, 24 February 2008 (CST)

I imagine that it is. Brizth would probably be the one who could do it if it could be done.

{{Ifdef|{{{Honor}}}|{{{Honor}}}}} should do it, but you'd have to set honor= instead of doing a default variable, otherwise you would have to figure out what the very last number in total number of variables is(it looks to be 14, in which case you could replace {{{Honor}}} with {{{14}}} and you could do it like everything else in this template).

You could also just copy the contact section {{If|{{{contact|}}}|then= {{!}}- {{!}} style="background:#{{{12}}}; width:100px" align="right" {{!}} '''Contact:''' {{!}} style="background:#{{{12}}}; width:200px" align="left" {{!}} {{{contact}}} |}} then change every instance of the word contact with the word honor, it does pretty much the same exact thing.

There actual was a template with honor added, {{FactionHonor}}, but I deleted that one few minutes ago. I've modified this one with the extra field, and it works similar to the optional contact information field. --Brizth 15:30, 27 February 2008 (CST)
